Step's POV:

As I sit in our cozy living room, cradling our precious baby Girl, Kane, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude and love. The soft glow of the evening sun seeps through the curtains, casting a warm ambiance over our little sanctuary. Matthew, my husband, is bustling about in the kitchen, preparing dinner with a skill and ease that never fails to amaze me.

Being married to Matthew has been an adventure, one filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support. From the moment we said our vows, I knew I had found my soulmate, my partner in every sense of the word. His unwavering presence has been my anchor through the storms and my source of joy during the calm.

And now, with Kane in our lives, our family feels complete. Her tiny fingers wrapped around mine, her innocent eyes gazing up at me with such trust and wonder – it's a feeling unlike any other. Every coo, every smile, every moment spent watching her grow fills my heart with a profound sense of purpose.

As I watch Matthew move effortlessly around the kitchen, I can't help but marvel at how lucky I am. Lucky to have found a love so pure and unconditional, lucky to have a partner who shares my dreams and ambitions, and lucky to be blessed with a beautiful son who embodies the best parts of both of us.

I know that there will be challenges ahead, moments of doubt and uncertainty, but with Matthew by my side, I am confident that we can weather any storm. Together, we are a team, a force to be reckoned with, bound by love and strengthened by the bond we share.

As I press a gentle kiss to Kane's forehead, I silently vow to cherish every moment, to savor every memory, and to be the best husband and father I can be. Our journey together is just beginning, and I can't wait to see where life takes us next. But for now, in this moment, surrounded by the ones I love most, I am content.

I approached my husband, who was busy cooking, and sighed as I scanned the entire area of my kitchen. It looked like it had been hit by a storm again. I wrapped my arms around him from behind, surprising him, and wiped the sweat off his forehead with a tissue.

"Are you okay, babe?" I asked, focused on wiping his sweat. He nodded and turned back to the dish he was cooking. "Do you want me to help you?" I immediately offered, he reaching for the ladle to take over, and turned off the gas range before facing me.

"No need, babe. I know you're tired from taking care of Kane all day, and this is my way of helping and lightening your workload at home," he said. Since I gave birth, I haven't been able to handle my businesses. I focused on taking care of our child and literally became a housewife. Meanwhile, Matthew successfully turned the underworld right side up. Because of him, our family's business matters were sorted out. He was one of those who managed my businesses, but I still made the decisions and signed for approval. However, I haven't been to my company for 3 years. His mom and my mom helped me take care of Kane when Matthew wasn't around, along with mommy Gulf and his other siblings, who spoiled my daughter too much.

"But you just came back from an out-of-country summit, you should be resting. Let our cooks handle the food for us," I said, knowing he was more tired between the two of us. After I gave birth, he was always awake whenever our child cried at night, and sometimes we wouldn't even sleep when she was sick. But he said that was the only way he could help me because I carried our child for nine months. We've argued about this before. He's too dedicated, sometimes he neglecting himself. I let him be because I know it makes him happy. And I'm lucky because, like the vows he makes every time we get married (yes, we've been married several times), he keeps his promises. On our anniversary, he does exactly what he vowed. And I'm super grateful for that. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I kissed him, and he responded eagerly, almost leaving both of us breathless. I smiled at him and removed the apron from him. He hadn't changed clothes since he came home because he was still wearing long sleeves. I shook my head.
