Devin answered Poppy's question.

"She uses mind control so people will buy her terrible music, it's not as if she has good music and is just simply money hungry, she also can't sing to save her life." Devin said with anger in his voice.

"Are you just telling me or do you want my help?" Poppy said, taking in the information that Devin just revealed.

"I want you to help us, but not by convincing her, trust me words won't work." Devin said to Poppy.

"How do you even imagine I'm useful?" Poppy asked.

"I'm assuming you have a shred of usefulness to you, I haven't seen your powers in years, not like I'd remember them anyway." Devin said.

"How did you even figure out she uses mind control??" Poppy asked.

"She told me and Jade once, she's so confident that she is incapable of falling, that she decides to reveal something like that to us."

"Classic Selena, the older she gets, the more overly confident she becomes." Poppy said, with a annoyed tone.

"Exactly, you understand what I mean, right?"

"Of course, it's just that Selena can mind control everyone, so what will be the point?"

Devin sighs.

"I just want her to get what she deserves." Devin said.

"I almost feel bad for you." Poppy said.

"Wow thanks, Poppy."

"Don't mention it." Poppy said.

"Won't be." Devin said.

"Can you be mind controlled by Selena?" Poppy asked.

"No, neither can Jade." Devin said.

"That's interesting, so her mind control has flaws."

"Guess so, but everyone else can be though." Devin explained.

"Usually others powers have some sort of weakness or something that counters how strong it is." Poppy explained to Devin.

"Jade has to draw absolutely perfectly, Violet can only make flowers, and I usually can't walk around too much on land without floating." Devin told Poppy.

"There's drawbacks, maybe Selena easily gets drained from her powers?" Poppy theorized.

"I don't believe so, she's been at it for 3 years now, if she was getting easily drained, I'd know."

Poppy gets up.

"You don't even have a concrete plan to stop Selena, why should I help you?" Poppy asked.

"I want you to help because she's getting rich due to a unfair advantage." Devin replied.

"Hold that thought, I need basic information on Selena first." Poppy said as she gets her phone.

Poppy scrolls on Cosmic media.

"Selena seems to have the fans and the popularity, she has put effort into her image."

"You think I don't know that, I LIVE WITH HER!" Devin said annoyed at Poppy.

"For someone that lives with her, you don't even know what you are signing up for when trying to stop someone who's head is so far up that they would causally reveal their true colors around you!" Poppy said.

"Just because you haven't been around for a few years doesn't mean you know everything, Poppy Starling."

Poppy's eye twitches.
