Part 7: Under The Sea

Zero rolls his eyes at Devin.

"Do you ever not get tired of trying to be the hero around here?" Zero asked, attempting to make Devin mad.

Devin walks towards Zero.

"And why are YOU involving me in your problems?" Devin asked Zero.

"Well admit it, we all know you could just beat me in a fight, and I can still be burned by fire, and I don't have the resistance abilities you guys do."

Devin looks at Zero suspiciously.

"So why exactly would you to use powers, that can backfire on you?"

Zero tries to process what Devin is saying.

"Maybe if I get better at using them, they won't backfire on me!" Zero said.

"Well you clearly wouldn't be able to use fire powers, but if you can swim then.."

Devin thinks for a moment.

"Wait, can you even swim?" Devin asked.

"Of course I can swim, do you think I'd be asking you to teach me how to use WATER POWERS if I could swim??"

"I mean, it does sound like you." Devin said.

Jade sees that tension is possibly building up between Devin and Zero.

Jade steps in between Zero and Devin.

"Look you two, just calm down." Jade said.

"Devin, even if Zero were to use his powers to destroy us and everything else, we'd just need to band together to stop him."

"Hey I am right here." Zero said.

"Yes we know." Devin said, rolling his eyes at Zero.

Devin calms down.

"You do have a good point Jade."

"I know I do."

Devin looks back at Zero.

"So you really think you can handle having water powers?" Devin asked, attempting to challenge Zero.

Zero thinks for a moment.

"I can handle it."

"Alright then."

Devin grabs Zero's arm and teleports with him.

Jade claps.

"Well glad that was resolved quick."

Jade teleports to Poppy's room.

Jade looks for Poppy but she's nowhere to be found.

"Poppy?"

Jade texts Poppy.

"Where are you, I have exciting news to tell you!"

Jade puts her phone in her bag.

"Guess she just left early."

Jade walks out of Poppy's room.

Meanwhile with Selena.

"So Zero helped me with some song lyrics and then quickly left." Selena said, very annoyed.

"That sucks, guess anyone who's associated with Jade, has a tendency to do that." Poppy said.

"Wait WHAT??"

"Yeah, I saw Zero with Jade a few times, apparently he wants to learn about his powers."

"Oh, that's not really a big deal at all." Selena shrugged.
