Part 8: Childhood Memories

Date: March 11th 2013

Selena wakes up from her bed, growing excited because today marks the day Selena get her main power.

Selena approaches the calendar and grab a marker to draw a x on March 11 2013.

"Today is finally the day!"

Selena goes to her parents room, and notices Zach is still asleep.

Selena starts to wake Zach up by shaking him.

Zach sees Selena and wakes up.

"Dad, do you know what day it is?" Selena asked excitedly.

"Yes I do my little singer." Zach yawns.

Zach pats Selena's head.

Selena looks around and notice her mom still isn't here.

"Where's mom?" Selena asks, still looking around.

Zach still waking up, stares at Selena in confusion and then responds.

"I guess she hasn't gotten back yet." Zach said.

"Oh."

Zach notices that Selena was starting to look sad.

"Look princess, you mom is just very...busy." Zach shrugged.

Selena starts to hang her head down.

Zach dad gets up and picks Selena up.

He starts to walk over to the family portraits that are on the wall.

Selena starts to stare at them in awe.

One of the portraits was from 2009.

"Dad, I remember this one from when Poppy first gotten her powers!" Selena points towards the portrait.

"Yeah, that was a good day."

Selena looks at the portrait longer.

"Dad, do you think I'll have a cool power like hers?"

"I believe you will."

Selena jumps down and starts to walk to Poppy's room.

Selena knock on the door.

Poppy opens the door and stares at Selena

"Hi Poppy!" Selena said, waving towards her.

"Oh, hey Lena." Poppy said.

"So Poppy, I'm finally getting my power today and I'm 10 years old!"

"Good for you." Poppy said, not paying that much attention to Selena.

Selena sits on Poppy's bed.

"So what do you think my power is going to be?"

"No idea, probably something similar to mine." Poppy said.

"I hope so, your powers are so cool," Selena said.

Poppy shows a small smile.
