Poppy messes with the illusion of cards.
"Jade and Devin are small pieces which means nothing when they were just a duo." Poppy said, messing with the illusions.
"So what do we do?" Selena asked.
Poppy creates an illusion of Zero's card.
"Zero is a bit of a wild card at the moment, or was." Poppy said, holding Zero's card.
Selena looks at Zero's card with a sad look on her face.
"I just can't believe it, after being his friend for years, after helping him in his worst moments, this guy just leaves me for, those people!" Selena said, with tears in her eyes.
Poppy notices Selena's face, but especially her eyes.
Poppy then turns around and grabs Selena's face.
"But see, you have possibly one of the strongest powers, powers that could easily ruin their emotional states. You may not be able to mind control them but you could do far more." Poppy explained, making illusions of Jade, Devin and Zero.
Selena watches the illusions closely.
"Poppy, I have the key that'll solve both of our problems, and bring Zero back on my side." Selena said, holding Jade's diary and waving it around.
"You have Jade's diary?" Poppy asked.
Poppy removes all of the illusions.
"Yeah, there's some pretty good stuff in here." Selena said, reading Jade's diary.
Poppy snatches the diary from Selena's hands.
"So you mean to tell me that this could possibly hold everything about Jade?" Poppy asked, flipping the pages.
"You'd be correct." Selena said.
"How long did you have this?" Poppy asked.
"Almost a month now." Selena said.
"So you've had this thing for an entire month and you didn't bother to do anything with it, I'm amazed and shocked." Poppy said.
"Well, I haven't had a reason to use it but I guess with little miss daddy issues, water boy and Zero, I have to figure out a way this could hurt them." Selena said.
Poppy blinks at Selena really fast.
"Well you might have a opportunity after all." Poppy said.
"You do have a point." Selena said.
Poppy laughs and gives Selena the diary back.
"So you're going to blackmail Jade with it, reveal it before she can destroy you?" Poppy asked.
Selena thinks for a moment.
"I don't know yet." Selena said.
"Jade is probably thinking about all of the ways she can ruin your career." Poppy said.
Selena sighs.
"You're right Poppy, maybe this'll work." Selena said, holding the diary and walking to her desk.
"Assuming she even writes anything interesting in there." Poppy said.
"She does, I've read all of it already." Selena said.
Selena takes photos of Jade's entries.
"We don't even need the diary itself, we just need video or photo evidence." Selena said while smiling.
