"Aria! Calix's voice suddenly came when he finally arrived at the house. His clothes looked like he had just been fighting with thousands of beastmen before coming here. His face looked tired and he seemed to be getting skinny!

"Calix? Are you okay?" she was surprised by his appearance. "What happened?" she looked him over.

He just hugged her and felt relieved when he finally saw her safe and in good condition. "I'm glad you're safe," he held her tight.

flashback~

Curtis and Calix both run as fast as they can to reach the beast city. Unfortunately, their timing is so bad when they arrive at the village.

The scorpion still attacking the horse village. 'what a bad timing' Curtis stop his movements and look at Calix. "let's used another route" Calix said as he want to avoid the conflict.

He knew Aria was here but was glad she had already left, safe from harm. They both took another path and continued their way towards the beast city. If Aria was in danger, Calix must have already known about it, but the uneasy feeling still lingered. His eyes looked around just in case Aria was there.

"Looking for the female?" The voice suddenly stopped them in their tracks. Who the hell was talking to them in the middle of the forest? Calix looked back and saw the feral scorpion. He knew this male all too well. The scorpion king who liked to keep females and abuse them.

'bad luck'

"what do you mean?" Calix asked him, curious what is he talking about. 'he doesn't talk about Aria right?'

The Scorpion King walked closer and said, "You know what I'm talking about. The sweet female." Calix thought he might just be trying to scare him. If Aria is with him or met him, at least her smell would be around him. But there was nothing.

"what are you trying to do? did you!" Curtis is mad right now

"never said I kidnapped her.. but~ maybe in the future" Mitchell smirked when he saw the gloom face both of the female mates. He just like playing with them. 'she will be mine'

The first time he saw the female was when she was sleeping in the woods with her eagle beastman. At first, he thought she was just a regular female, but the moment the sweet smell hit his nose, he couldn't help but say, 'how beautiful she is'. He wanted to step closer to her, but he couldn't. There was something protecting her from harm.

He stopped his walk and looked at the sleeping female, feeling a strong urge to kidnap her at that moment. 'How great it would be if she were in my hands and I could kiss her,' he thought to himself behind the bushes. 'The other females are so ugly and lazy, they smell like... but this female is small, pretty, and so sweet.'

Mitchell busy stalking Aria and forget that he have to attach the rabbit village. The other scorpion was ready to attach but their boss is nowhere to be found.
