When the time was right, I decided to tell both Minhyung and Haechan what truly happened.

From the beginning, until the end.

They were blown away with everything. Especially Minhyung.

He couldn't believe it at first, but he decided he will. Since it was the only way to explain why he felt that being in the clouds was real.

He said that it couldn't have been just a dream.

Well, it was true. None of it was a dream.

Everything was real.

And as they both asked me questions about Dr. Renjun, I wondered about him too.

I wondered how he was doing in his dimension.

Was he okay? Did he finally find his missing friends? Did he destroy the mainframe?

The device never came to life again. So maybe he did.

And then I wondered about Mark as well.

What did he do in the past when he came back? Did he finally come to terms with Elizabeth's death? Did he live a full life?

As I thought about it, I looked at Minhyung.

He seemed the same, despite knowing the fact that his own great grandfather had caused such troubles for him.

Somehow, he knew something like that would happen.

"I dreamed about it too. I dreamed that Mark went away, to a place where he doesn't belong. But he came back, because someone told him to go back."

He'd said.

And I smiled as I listened to him.

I guess, Mark did live a full life. Perhaps, he didn't forget about Elizabeth, but he had moved on.

Because Minhyung was here, like he's meant to be, where he's supposed to be.

Mark listened to me, when I told him to go back.

To go home.

How strange was it to travel into the past, exist in a time and place where you're not supposed to, and then come back to your present only to hear about what you did in that past?

It was very strange, very surreal.

But everything was real.

The secret of the universe.

Who would've thought that someone like me would travel through time?

Who knew that thousands of realities other than ours existed?

I did.

Some time in the past, somewhere in a different dimension, I did.

And there was only one thing I could say.

Our summer that year, I was destined to make it happen.
