What Made You Like Me?

We talked for hours
Then you asked that one dreaded question
"What made you like me?"
I had no choice but to answer

So I've never been drunk,
Of course, I haven't because I've never drank
I'm only 15
But when you laugh, I get that feeling
That reckless, I can do anything, drunk feeling

So maybe it was your laugh
Your laugh is intoxicating
Maybe it was your ears
That listen to me talk on and on for hours

Or it could've been Your hair, perfect curls when out but almost pin-straight when tied back in a bun

It could've been your lips
And how they curved when you said my name
Your lips I wanted to kiss (and still want to)

Or maybe it was your smile
Your smile makes me numb

And then there is the obvious
Your amazing personality
Your interesting sense of humor
Or the way you made me laugh

Maybe it was all the flattering
Constantly complimenting me
Bragging about me and my ability to write, loving that writing is the thing I love the most

I don't know what drew me to you
I wish I could narrow down a reason
But I think it was a combination of everything
That is why, at least I think that's what made me like you
