Karishma held Haseena's arm twisting it behind her back handcuffing her to her and before Haseena could fanthom what she had done she put the key deep inside her back pocket and pretended to throw something far away. Haseena gaped at her still finding it difficult to believe what she had done.
"Ye aapne kya kiya hai Karishma? Kaisa bachpana hai ye? Unlock this thing right now." Haseena mumbled seriously.
"I threw away the key baby ab jitna bhaagna hai bhaago mere saat." Karishma remarked with a sly smirk and Haseena wanted to slap that annoying smirk away right now.
"aargh." Haseena groaned in frustration and Karishma checked the time on the watch tied to the hand that was now linked to Haseena the handcuffs made a clattering noise which didn't even seem to bother Karishma.
"Mujhe bhook lag rahi hai chalo kuch khaate hai." She said dragging Haseena into the restaurant they had been inside.
"Singh stop sab dekh rahe hai." Haseena looked around consciously.
"Toh dekhne dho. Let them say anything I don't care about them." Karishma occupied the table they had previously occupied and Haseena had no option but to sit with her but she put their hands below the table and Karishma chuckled. She shifted her hand placing it on Haseena's thigh and Haseena slapped her hand away. Karishma pouted innocently.
"Arrey aise comfortable hai. Never mind." Karishma shrugged and raised the handcuffed hand to call the waiter earning another slap on her hand.
"Ouch Mallik."
"Chup chap ye haath neech rakhiye." Haseena warned and Karishma stuck her tongue out at her making Haseena sigh. She really did live with two kids.
"Aap chahti kya hai aur ab kaise isko unlock karenge? Itna pareshaan kyun karti hai aap humko." Haseena buried her face into her free hand. She was tired and was afraid that she would give in to this urge to let Karishma in, before she could control it. Karishma pursed her lips trying hard not to just hug Haseena, to show some kind of physical affection to comfort her. She was pushing Haseena to her edge so she would crack and that was what was happening.
"Kuch khaa lo okay?" Karishma requested in a very kind voice which reflected her genuine care and Haseena agreed nodding and they waited for their order in silence and once the food had arrived they started eating managing well enough with just one hand as Karishma's left was handcuffed to Haseena's right but it wasn't such a big deal after all Haseena was left-handed and Karishma was right-handed. Haseena noticed Karishma struggling with the tissues so she handed her a couple, her anger slowly dissipating with her hunger.
"Aap kitni immature hai." Haseena commented randomly as they continued to have their breakfast or brunch rather.
"Excuse me?" Karishma scrunched her nose at Haseena's scolding.
"Kiara bhi itni immature nahi hai jitna aap hai." Haseena continued. The restaurant they were in was had a calm vibe and it was a lazy weekend afternoon. It seemed as if the couple were finally on a date.
"You are comparing me to a one-year-old baby?" Karishma raised her eyebrows.
"Yes. Harkatein dekho aap apni. Humne aapki baat nahi suni so you handcuffed us together." Haseena chuckled and Karishma smiled because Haseena was finally talking to her.
"Aur kya karti mein? Aur itna koun bhaagta hai? PT Usha kaheen ki." Haseena shook her head, devouring another fork of the delicious pasta. She looked at Karishma eyeing her food so she offered her a spoon and Karishma nodded appreciatively at the taste.
"You know your food." Karishma remarked how Haseena had ordered the best dish out of the menu.
"That's because humare family ka business hai. You know Laylee Chain of restaurants and hotels?" Karishma nodded.
