Daenerys and Anakin sat in somber silence aboard the transport ship, their wrists shackled in cuffs, as it ascended into space, leaving behind the dusty brown planet that had been their prison for the past two days. Daenerys gazed out of a small window, her eyes fixed on the receding planet as it grew smaller and smaller in the distance.

As the ship adjusted its trajectory, Daenerys spotted something that left her stunned. A vast Separatist fleet hovered ominously around the planet, their ships forming a formidable blockade. Her eyes narrowed in alarm as she saw the largest ship among them, hovering farthest from the planet. She nudged Anakin gently and gestured toward the window.

In a hushed whisper, Anakin confirmed her suspicions, "That's Count Dooku's ship, the Providence-class Dreadnought known as the 'Dooku's Providence.' It's his flagship."

Daenerys whispered back, her voice filled with concern, "I've never seen such a large force before. It's overwhelming."

Anakin reassured her; his tone was resolute, "We might be brought aboard his ship for questioning and possible imprisonment. But remember, Daenerys, don't let anything Count Dooku does intimidate or scare you. Stay strong."

Daenerys nodded, her determination resurfacing as she prepared herself for whatever lay ahead. She watched in silence as the transport ship entered the immense hangar of the Providence-class Dreadnought. The droids ordered Anakin and Daenerys to stand and follow them.

As they disembarked from the transport ship, they were led through the intricate corridors of the dreadnought, the dimly lit passageways filled with an aura of foreboding.

Daenerys and Anakin were led to the imposing bridge of Count Dooku's Providence-class Dreadnought, still in restraints. The vast expanse of the bridge was bustling with activity as various workers operated the intricate machinery of the ship. In the center of the bridge, they were brought to a halt, facing the towering viewports that looked out onto the stars.

Ahead of them, a figure in a deep black coat with stark white hair stood gazing out of the window toward the distant planet. Anakin took the initiative, addressing the man calmly, "Count Dooku."

Dooku turned around slowly, his eyes fixing on Anakin. He began to walk toward the pair, revealing the curved lightsaber strapped to his waist. Daenerys instinctively took a nervous step back at the sight of the weapon, but Anakin's reassuring nudge reminded her to stand her ground.

Dooku looked at Anakin with an amused expression before shifting his focus to Daenerys. He circled her, his gaze appraising her hair and figure. Daenerys felt a surge of discomfort but maintained her composure. Dooku commented, "Well, well, you are quite something, aren't you?" He plucked a strand of her white hair and examined it before continuing, "You and your dragon are quite the mystery, my dear."

Daenerys, her glare unwavering, demanded, "Where have you taken my dragon?" Dooku responded cryptically, "Don't worry, my dear, your dragon is being kept somewhere safe." His curiosity piqued, and he inquired about her origins and those of her dragons. Daenerys deflected the question, asserting her status, "Where I come from, I rule as a queen."

Anakin's reaction shifted subtly upon learning of Daenerys' royal status. He hadn't known that she was a queen in her homeland. Dooku chuckled briefly, then took a step back, addressing both Anakin and Daenerys. He declared that in this place, they were nothing—Daenerys, not a queen, and Anakin, not a Jedi.

Dooku turned away from them, walking toward the bridge's exit, and stated his intentions to plot a course to his planet, the base of separatist operations. He added, "The droids will take you to your cell; be sure to get comfortable." With a wave of his hand, a pair of droids approached Anakin and Daenerys, ready to escort them to their holding cells deeper within the ship.

As they were led away, the two captives exchanged a look of worry. They were now prisoners of Count Dooku, facing an uncertain future within the heart of the Separatist forces.

As they were being led away by the droids, Anakin couldn't help but whisper to Daenerys, "We can't stay locked up for long. We need to find a way out of here."

Daenerys nodded in agreement, her eyes flicking toward the distant figure of Count Dooku. "We'll have to bide our time and wait for the right moment," she whispered back. "And we'll still need to get Drogon."

The droids led them through the maze-like corridors of the dreadnought, the cold metal walls echoing with the sounds of distant machinery and muffled conversations. Daenerys couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as they were escorted deeper into the heart of the ship.

Anakin, ever the strategist, tried to gather information from the droids without arousing suspicion. "Exactly where are the holding cells on this ship? How far could they be?" he asked casually.

One of the droids responded, "The cells are located at the bottom of the ship, near the back towards the engines. You will remain there until Count Dooku decides your fate."

Anakin couldn't help but wonder what Dooku had in store for them. He knew they had to be prepared for anything. "Keep your guard up," he murmured to Daenerys. "We don't know what Dooku has planned."

They were eventually ushered into a dimly lit holding cell. The door sealed shut behind them with a heavy thud, leaving them in near darkness. Anakin and Daenerys could hear the faint hum of machinery and the occasional footsteps of guards passing by outside.

The cell was small and dimly lit, with the cold, metallic walls closing in on Daenerys and Anakin. As they settled into their confinement, Daenerys let out a defeated sigh and slumped onto the solitary bench that occupied the space. Her thoughts weighed heavily on her, and she couldn't help but feel the loss of her dragon, Drogon, and the dire situation they were in.

Near the door of the cell, Anakin scanned the area, searching for any potential means of escape. He contemplated a risky plan, suggesting they could try to convince a droid to come inside, perhaps for a drink, and then overpower it to gain their freedom. However, Daenerys remained silent, her gaze fixed on the surroundings inside the cell.

Anakin turned to her, growing frustrated as he repeated her name, "Daenerys, are you listening?"

Startled out of her reverie, Daenerys stood up and walked beside Anakin, looking out of the cell. She explained that they couldn't do anything until they got rid of their cuffs, demonstrating her raised hands and emphasizing their helplessness. "And you, Anakin," she continued, "you're limited without your lightsaber and with just one hand."

Daenerys pressed on, stressing the urgency of their situation. "We need to get out of here and find my dragon."

Anakin sighed, grappling with the reality of their predicament. He acknowledged that Daenerys' dragon, Drogon, was likely too large to escape within their current circumstances. "We might have to leave him here," he reluctantly admitted.

Daenerys couldn't accept that idea; her voice rose in defiance. "You saw my other dragons fall by Dooku's hand; you saw my children die. Drogon is my last child, and I will not leave him behind."

Anakin, striving to reassure her, proposed a plan. He suggested they could escape, just the two of them, and return to Coruscant. There, they could inform the Jedi Council, who would mobilize an army to confront Dooku and free her dragon. "But for now," he added, "we must wait for the right moment to escape."

Daenerys, though reluctantly, finally agreed, realizing the wisdom in Anakin's words. They both sat down on the bench behind them as Daenerys laid her head on his shoulder, finding comfort in his presence, knowing that their escape would be a challenge but one they had to undertake together. In the cold, dim cell, their bond grew stronger as they prepared to face the challenges that lay ahead.

AUTHORS NOTE!

Daenerys and Anakin finally met Count Dooku. I was very excited about writing this one because Anakin had met Dooku before, just like in the movies, but Daenerys never met him because she is from a different world. I wanted to keep the meeting somewhat brief but focused on Dooku and Dany.

I do hope you all liked this chapter. Until next time!
