After the intense battle on Raxus, the group returned to Coruscant, their success evident as they had both Anakin's lightsaber and Daenerys' dragon, Drogon, in their possession. Captain Rex resumed his duties, preparing for the next mission, while Anakin, Daenerys, and Obi-Wan made their way to report to the Jedi Council on the mission's outcome.
Upon their return to Coruscant, Drogon was released from the cargo ship, and the majestic dragon took to the skies above the bustling city. His massive form soared around the Jedi Temple, a breathtaking sight that captured the attention of many inhabitants of Coruscant.
The trio of Anakin, Daenerys, and Obi-Wan entered the council chamber to brief the Jedi Council on their mission. The gravity of their success weighed on them, and they stood before the council members to deliver their report.
After the briefing, Anakin and Daenerys were dismissed, but Obi-Wan, as a member of the council, remained behind to discuss other matters with his fellow Jedi.
As Anakin and Daenerys were leaving the council chamber, Obi-Wan stepped out to catch their attention. "Anakin, Daenerys," he called, prompting the two to halt and turn to face him.
Obi-Wan's expression was serious as he spoke, his gaze resting on Daenerys. "The Chancellor wants to meet you."
Daenerys appeared puzzled by the sudden request. "What? Why me?" she asked, her confusion evident.
Obi-Wan explained, "He heard about you and your dragon on Raxus, and he was also a bit disappointed that the Council failed to inform him of your presence sooner. So he's quite anxious to meet you."
Daenerys continued to look uncertain. "But how do I even get to him? I don't know where the leader of the Republic lives."
Anakin stepped in to offer a solution. "I can take you to him. His office is in the Imperial Executive Building."
Obi-Wan nodded in agreement. "That's a good idea. The Chancellor has also been asking about you, Anakin. It's probably best that you take Daenerys to him. We wouldn't want to keep him waiting."
Anakin, taking charge of the situation, addressed Obi-Wan with respect. "Alright, Master. We'll leave right away." He then touched Daenerys' shoulder, gesturing for her to follow him.
Daenerys nodded in acknowledgment, casting a quick farewell glance at Obi-Wan. With Anakin as her guide, she was about to embark on an unexpected meeting with the Chancellor of the Republic. Obi-Wan watched as the pair walked away, his expression filled with a mixture of concern and curiosity, before he turned and reentered the council chamber to continue his Jedi duties and responsibilities.
As Anakin and Daenerys arrived at the Imperial Executive Building, they made their way to the elevator that would take them to the top floor, where the Chancellor's office was located. The dragon, Drogon, had followed them from the Jedi Temple and was now circling the building, staying close to Daenerys.
Inside the elevator, Anakin and Daenerys stood side by side, the tension between them palpable. They both knew that their relationship had evolved beyond a simple partnership, but they had not yet addressed their feelings. Daenerys turned to say something to Anakin, but her frustration got the better of her, and she turned away.
Anakin noticed her frustration and couldn't help but smirk at himself. He decided to break the silence. "Daenerys," he began, looking at her with a mixture of amusement and sincerity.
Daenerys turned to face him, her violet eyes meeting his. "Yes?" she responded, her curiosity piqued.
Anakin raised his hand, about to broach a personal topic, when the elevator reached its destination, and the doors slid open to reveal two guards waiting for them.
