Fears are the deadliest vices, they trap you and suffocate you until you succumb.

My life has been like weird lines of ups and downs, most of ours are that way. My head feels like a packed railway local coach, there's so much chaos. Pushing and pulling, hurting and screaming. Stumping and tugging.

All my fears suddenly decided it was the right time to ambush me. At once. The gushing force is enough to wreck me, and it is. Those stares? Their looks are still reeling in front of my eyes. The disgust, the questions, the doubts. I could see my hard-work crumbling down into dust, just like I had anticipated it would.

I feel empty. That's the right word to describe my plight. I needed to get away from those people, who wouldn't wait even a second before labelling my work as a gift, a debt.

"Noor!" My feet come to a halt hearing the thunderous voice scream for me. I am a mess. Footsteps follow before my dad's figure emerges right before my eyes.

"Let's go for a walk, my child." He lovingly whispers. Wiping away the tears that I had shed, ones that I wasn't even aware of falling. That happens when your entire being is falling and tumbling down.
