It was Friday.

I was at school, standing in front of my history class, waiting for the teacher to arrive.

Some students were waiting outside.

I looked amongst the students to see if Ruby was there, but she was not. I frowned.

I don't know why, but I felt disappointed.

It was a minute later.

I saw Ruby walking up to me. She stood next to me.

I decided to try and figure out who Ruby was.

"Hello," I said.

"Hi." She replied.

"Why don't you talk much?" I asked.

"Why don't you shut up." She snapped.

I felt hurt that she snapped at me like that.

"Sorry," I replied.

The teacher arrived. He opened the door, and we piled in. I sat down in the middle row while she sat beside me.

I thought she didn't want to sit next to me because she was mad at me, or she could've forgiven me already.

She's a very confusing person. 1 minute, she's mad at me; the next, she's sitting next to me.

"Wanna hang out at my place?" Ruby asked.

I looked at her confused.

Should I or should I not go.

I decided to go.

"Sure I'll come." I replied.

Her eyes lit up but she did not smile.
