Chapter 7 I Happy

It was a Sunday.

I was lying on my bed in my room playing Forza Horizon 5.

I heard my phone buzz next to me on my bed. I paused the game and checked it.

It was a message from Ruby.

I opened it.

Ruby: can you come over?

Me: yes. IMO.

I turned off my PS5 and TV. I hopped off my bed, grabbed my white and black Nike sneakers next to my door and put them on. I grabbed my handbag and phone and put it in my bag.

Throughout the entire time I got ready, I was feeling excited. 

I can't wait to see her.

I'm now ready.

I opened my door and walked out of my room. I headed towards the front door.

I opened it and walked out.

It was 14 minutes later.

I arrived at Ruby's house.

I knocked on the front door, feeling excited.  The door opened to reveal Ruby's beautiful face.

She was wearing a baggy white t-shirt and black skinny jeans.

I was wearing a black flowy dress, black socks, a black bra and black underwear.

She looks stunning. She looks stunning no matter what she wears.

I fought the urge to grab her face and kiss her.

But I failed.

I did end up grabbing her face and kissing her. Surprisingly, she kissed me back. She wrapped her warm, soft arms around my back.

It was a few seconds later.

I pulled away. But Ruby still had her arms around me.

"Hi," I said, smiling.

"Hello." She replied, smiling.

She kissed me on my forehead.

"Come in." She said, smiling and stepping aside so I could walk in.

I walked in, and Ruby closed the door behind me.

Ruby seems to be in a friendlier mood today.

I wouldn't dare say that to her because I may make her angry and talk to me less or not speak to me at all.

Ruby walked in front of me, and she took the lead. We walked into her room.

So many memories flooded back.

She sat on the bed and patted the spot next to her. I sat down on the bed next to her. Ruby turned around so she was facing me. She held onto my hands. She looked deeply into my eyes.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" She asked nervously.

I was contemplating whether or not I should date her. I mean, we don't really know anything about each other, but I guess we can get to know each other as we're dating, and my heart is screaming YES!

I decided to say yes and go out with Ruby.

"Yes," I replied, smiling.

Ruby looked relieved. I said yes; she probably expected me to say no.

I closed the gap between us.

We're now officially dating.

I'm so happy.
