It was a Monday. It was a week later.
Ruby and I were at the diner.
We walked inside.
I sat at 1 of the booths, and she sat beside me. Her arm brushed up against mine.
A while later, a waitress came up to us.
"Hi, what can I get you?" She asked in a friendly tone.
"I'd like large chips, please," Ruby said politely.
"I'd like sausages, waffles, and a large vanilla shake, please," I said politely.
"I'll be right back with your order." She said in a friendly tone.
She walked away. Ruby wrapped her warm arm around my shoulder, and I leaned against her.
"You're comfy," I said, smiling.
"You're comfy, too." She replied, smiling.
She kissed my scalp.
It was a few minutes later.
The waitress came back, holding a big metal plate. She put our t orders in front of us, and we thanked her. She walked away to tend to another customer. We started to dig in.
"Can I have a chip, please?" I asked.
"Sure." She replied.
She grabbed a chip and fed it to me.
"Now I want you to feed me 1 while saying here comes the aeroplane, nnnnrrrrr," I said smiling.
"Ok." She said, amused.
She grabbed a chip.
"Here comes the aeroplane, nnnnrrrr." She said, smiling as she fed me a chip.
"Now I want you to feed me 1 while it's in your hand," I said, smiling.
"Ok." She said, amused.
She grabbed a chip and put it in the palm of her hand. She put it in front of my mouth. I ate it.
It was a few minutes later.
We finished eating and drinking.
"Check, please," Ruby said.
The waitress came holding a check. She gave it to Ruby, and she put some money in it from her wallet. We stood up and left.
