It was a Friday. It was 2 weeks later.
Ruby and I were in our science class.
"After school, wanna go to the park?" Ruby asked.
"Yes," I replied, smiling.
It was 3 hours later.
Ruby and I were at the park.
We were walking hand in hand.
"Oh, playground!" I yelled excitedly.
I ran toward it. I climbed up the colourful ladder and slid down it.
"Weeeee," I said excitedly.
Ruby was watching me.
"Come, join me," I said, smiling.
She made her way to the ladder and climbed it. I got out of the way. She slid down the slide.
"That was fun." She said, smiling.
"I agree," I replied, smiling.
It was an hour later.
Ruby and I spent it playing on the playground.
"Wanna go sit by the lake and feed ducks?" Ruby asked.
I nodded my head. We walked towards the lake and sat down on a bench. Ruby grabbed a loaf of bread from her pocket. She grabbed a small piece and dropped it on the ground in front of a duck. The duck gobbled it up. I grabbed a piece of bread and dropped it on the ground. Another duck walked up and gobbled it up.
It was 30 minutes later.
The entire loaf of bread and the ducks were gone.
I wrapped my arm around Ruby.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you too," I replied, smiling.
