In this chapter Ruby and Y/N plays basketball. Ew. I hate it and it's been ages since I last played so I may have forgotten the rules so pls don't turn me into a pillow if I get it wrong.
It was a couple of weeks later. It was a Friday.
Ruby and I were at school, walking to the gym hand in hand.
It was 14 seconds later.
We arrived.
We walked into the girl's locker room. We got changed into our sports uniform.
We left the locker room and entered the gym. Ruby sat on the bleachers in the back row, and I sat on her lap. She wrapped her arms around my waist and kissed my cheek.
"Today, class, we'll be playing basketball." The teacher said.
A lot of people, including me, groaned.
I wouldn't say I like basketball.
"You'll be split into 2 teams. And I'll be choosing." The teacher said.
I hope she puts Ruby on my team.
The teacher started picking out teams.
She finished picking them.
Ruby and I were on the same team, so that's good.
We all went on the court. 2 people went to the centre, and the teacher held the basketball above them. Then she blew the whistle and threw the ball. A person on our team got it 1st and started dribbling towards the hoop while dodging people on their way. The person threw the ball at the hoop, and it went in.
Score.
It was an hour later.
The teacher blew the whistle, and everyone stopped doing what they were doing.
Our team won. Yay.
I was very happy.
