It was a Sunday.
I was lying on my bed watching something on YouTube.
I heard my phone buzz from next to me on my bed.
I grabbed it and then checked it.
I received a message from Ruby.
I opened it.
Ruby: you want to go on a date?
Me: yes
I was happy.
Ruby: I was thinking about going to Hungry Jacks and then watch a movie afterwards. Do you want to do that?
Me: yes.
Ruby: what do you want to watch?
Me: Kung Fu Panda 4
Ruby: I'll pick you up. What's your address?
I texted her my address.
Ruby: I'm on my way.
It was 12 minutes later.
I stood in front of the front door, waiting for Ruby to arrive.
The door knocked, and I answered it.
It was Ruby.
She was wearing a baggy black hoodie, black sweatpants and black Crocs.
I was wearing a pale pink sweater, pale blue ripped jeans and blue blue and pink socks, pink bra, pink underwear and white sneakers.
"Hey," I said, smiling.
"Gday, mate. You ready?" She replied, smiling.
I nodded my head.
"Let's go." She replied, smiling.
It was 14 minutes later.
We arrived at Hungry Jacks.
We walked inside and walked up to the counter. An employee walked up to us.
"Hi, what can I get you?" He asked in a friendly tone, smiling.
"I'll have the burger bites and a small orange Fanta, please," I said.
The employee typed something on the tablet-looking thing as I talked.
"I'd like large chips," Ruby replied.

"That'll be $16." He said.
"I'll pay for it," Ruby replied.
I thanked her. She grabbed out her wallet and paid the employee. She put her wallet back in her pocket. He printed out a receipt and handed it to Ruby. She grabbed it.
"Our number is 34." She said.
I nodded my head.
It was a couple of minutes later.
Our number was called out. Ruby and I grabbed our food and walked to a booth. We put our food down on the table and sat down in the booth. We started to dig in.
"Can I have a chip, please?" I asked.
"Sure." She replied.
