Jiang Fei looked me up and down with redness on his cheeks.

"I'm glad you're back with the sect, brother Xiao," he said, shifting his weight on the chair. His golden robes were now clean, hence he tried really hard to wipe off the dust, waving with his hands.

"You really found your way back to them all," Li Hua added.

"I still can't believe that Mei Lin is gone. I really miss seeing her visiting the YinYang Sect, spending our nights talking about your adventures," Mei Yang drank some more liquor from her cup as she leaned on Li Hua, "Gods, you're so beautiful," she looked at her and closed her eyes, no longer budging.

We waited a few seconds.

"I can't believe that she fell asleep," Jiang Fei laughed, "Li Hua, you two really are a great duo."

"I think so," she added, "she's really a ray of sunshine. Excluding me, she didn't deserve a day in that cursed prison."

"No one did, really. Those guys are something else," I said, trying to control my way of speech without blurting out whatever my mind wanted to.

"I'll take her to bed, you two have fun," she winked at us as she lifted Mei Yang up and left for the stairs.

"I really miss her," I said, looking at the drink from my cup.

"I bet you do," Jiang Fei got up and smashed his hands onto the table, looking me up and down, "if you want to give it a last try, I know a spot."

A last try?

"You know a spot? I wanted to fuse the poison I got so I can make something deathly out if it," I got up as well, looking around as the walls started to move around me. How much did I drink, anyways?

"Heh, you shouldn't make poison or curse people while you're drunk. What if you fail? Come with me," He grabbed my hand and dragged me towards the door, as the disciples jumped onto their feet.

"We'll be back shortly, you should all go to bed," they nodded as we opened the door, while I tried hiding the dizziness surround every corner of my mind. I was going to walk straight; or so I had hoped.

If Jiang Fei knew a place, it wouldn't have been much of a good sign. Any how, I really liked the idea, being in the intoxicated state that I was.
The inn looked odd and flowy as I got hit by the night air around.

"Where to, "teacher"?" I asked, looking at the starry sky.

"I'm not sure yet," he answered, "if you want any type of information, though, that's the place you want to go to."

He didn't make much sense, but I nodded regardless.

"Don't tell me it's another l..." I stopped, realizing that he didn't know I had followed him.

"Another what?" He asked as he kept on dragging me.

"I don't know," I answered, trying to be natural, "I don't remember."

"You're so drunk, brother. I never thought I'd see you like that," he laughed, carelessly.

The night was cold and the town was mostly asleep, except for the random people passing us by. Jiang Fei leaned on to me as he tried to regain his composure, gaining us a few looks from the strangers.
I found it rather funny.

"I think I found it," he added, "We're almost there."

Right as I started to think that he had gone crazy hallucinating, we got to a set of stairs.
It was still hard for me to tell where we had gotten to, but I kept my mouth closed and waited to see where we were. The town was mostly dull and didn't seem to have anything important to show, the only thing I could see being modest houses and paths, so hiding my lack of faith wasn't so easy.
