Pit and the Pendulum, San Diego
It's been a couple of weeks after the event of Chapter 4 and Poe is back to his usual business at the shop, but looks like things have become liver after the Commander found out about his shop and decide to do business with him despite with a creepy era. This time is his friend Shiranui who is buying creepy stuff for her bedroom which is a skull and a couple of horror movies that is on sell.
Shiranui: "How much for this horror movie?"
Poe: "20 coins or a couple of rubies."
Shiranui bought the movie and a couple of items for her shop.
Poe: "Thank you and come again."
Poe look at the time and it's about closing time, but looks like someone has arrive which is KMS Roon who arrive with a Siren wisdom cube that is cover in yellow blood with a smile on her face.
Roon(happy): "Here you go Poey."
Roon put the wisdom cube on the desk and Poe inspect it with interest look on his face; you probably wonder what their relationship is and why Roon called him Poey; we must go back 3 years before this chapter.

Pit and the Pendulum, San Diego
It was 3 years when the shop is open after High Command can't fix his engines so he decide to set up shop of where he is station at, but of course since his ship is fall darker area of the port; no one bother to show up, but he continue to have friends with Ravens and Pluto the Black Cat since they got no place to go. He decide to adopt them and they become a family. He is waiting for a customer to arrive after he finish setting up shop, but so far nothing until within a couple of months he can hear voices coming from the distance which reveal to be a couple of Iron Blood kansens that is looking for some place cheaper after Akashi has increase her selling to 80% of the prize. It was KMS Roon and KMS Z23
Z23: "I can't believe that we have to venture deeper into the port, it's creepy."
Roon: "I find this enjoyable."
Z23(thought): "Of course you would say that because you're crazy and enjoy killing."
They continue to explore the darker part of the port until they notice the shop that says "Pit and the Pendulum".
Z23(confuse): "I didn't know that there is a shop here. Creepy and all that."
Roon is heading to the entrance of the building while Z23 try to stop Roon from going in.
Z23(worry): "Wait; we don't know what's waiting for us in there."
Roon(confuse): "But we need the supplies don't we."
Roon press the button which cause the bells to ring loudly which cause the ravens to scatter which scares Z23, but interest Roon.
Roon(interest): "Looks pretty neat here."
Z23(scare): "Well, I don't . Let's get this done and leave."
They enter the building to reveal a bunch of items like skills, chips, and all kind of items that you find in Azur Lane base; however they were shock to see that the prize is more cheaper than Akashi.
Z23(shock): "20 coins for a skill book? 60 coins for a new equipment. Why we didn't learn about this before. We can saved our budget if we use this shop, but do we have to deal with the creeps all the time here?"
Roon(happy): "I like his taste. Nothing but death here."
This send shiver down Z23's spine and the door open to reveal Poe with a raven on his shoulder.
Poe: "Welcome to Pit and the Pendulum; where darkness lies, but with the shiny items lighting your path. What I can do you for?"
Z23: "We're looking for 300 oil barrels for our fleet and a couple of skill books along the way."
Poe: "I can help you with that. Oil barrels is onboard of my ship; you can take that door over there that leads to my ship."
The door has a black cat symbol on it that says USS E.A POE on it which they enter which takes them to the ship. It was cover in dust and they can hear creepy noise coming from outside of the ship as if there is nothing, but a ghost ship which interest Roon, but creeps Z23 out.
Poe: "Here is the barrels of oil."
There is a large bunch of barrels that says OIL on it and the prize is 150 coins per barrel or 5 rubies per barrel. This is more cheaper than Akashi so they bought it and Z23 is loading the barrel on her ship while Roon is talking with Poe.
Roon: "What's your favorite thing to do?"
Poe: "Study the mind, enjoying the torment of my subjects while studying their behavior, enjoying watching my ravens and playing with Pluto."
This caught Roon's attention as she likes torment her subjects by ripping them apart and play with the parts. Z23 notice those two talking about something creepy so she decide to ignore them and gather the items before heading out.

Time Skip
After Z23 finish loading up the supplies before heading out; she pay Poe the money and Roon decide to get a gift as a memento of visiting this dark wonderful place for her.
Poe: "Hope to see you again."
They left while Poe return to his shop and continue with business. It's been a couple of years since than, but Roon visit Poe every-time she visit San Diego which is when the Siren notice her for the first time. Both enjoy the world of Death. Poe the power of the "Red Death" where he turn them into ashes while Roon has the power of "Death" by ripping her enemies in pieces and enjoy of their suffering. This two are a interesting couple which I think is more suitable for them as Red and Black Death of the world. Let the world fear them and lose their sanity.
