Chapter 6: Poe's Toasters

Pit and the Pendulum, San Diego

It was couple of days after Chapter 5 where we can see Poe enjoying the radio of music playing at the background while he is writing something on a notepad which is list of supplies that he is selling right now; however something distract him with a smell of something he doesn't like..... A Royal Navy perfume or something that smells like something a elite would have, but he doesn't like it. The door open to reveal Queen Elizabeth and her sister Warspite who is interest of the store after she learn about the store.

QE: "Hello Poe."

Poe(thought): "Great, little queeny midget."

Warspite is looking around the store while Queen Elizabeth complain about something like Akagi is flirting the Admiral in front of her.

QE(complain): "Would you believe it Poe? That kitsune have a nerve of flirting with the Admiral and make a strange potion into the tea that Belfast made for him."

Poe: "Yup."

That's because the strange potion came from his shop when Akagi order something personal for the Admiral which Poe give it to her for 100 rubies since it's rare to get his hand on it and also created by him as a hobby. Looks like yandere girls are his favorite customers because their love struck illness for the Admiral is making his busy booming. The last time was Taihou who request a key that opens all lock which Poe made for 500 rubies and also insurance just in case something bad happens and it won't point at his shop for violation. Roon on one hand didn't request anything, but want to spend time with Poe except she request torture items  for interrogation when she capture a Siren.

QE: "I mean who that woman is. Do you know someone who would do something like that?"

Poe: "Yup."

The Queen continue to talk while Warspite is staring at a poster that says Poe Toaster that says the Toaster appear again this year which Warspite find it strange.

Warspite: "Poe? What is a Poe Toaster?"

Poe: "That's people call this person because every day on Edgar Allan Poe's birthday a strange person give gifts to his graves. No one knows who he is so the media decide to call him Poe Toaster."

Strange name, but is the truth and of course Warspite didn't heard anything because the Queen continue to talk about the Admiral like a girlfriend caught her boyfriend of cheating which Poe isn't have any of that so he decide to give her a difficult task.

Poe: "How about you girls do me a huge favor and deliver this to Fredrich der Grosses."

Poe hand the girls a huge box of items that has Grosse's name on it.

Poe: "This is her luxury item for her and Roon, but she has a meeting with the Vichy Dominion and don't have the time to get the package so for exchange of helping me. How about I give you this potion as a reward."

QE: "What does it do?"

Poe: "More powerful than the ones that I give it to Akagi and you can win the Admiral's heart if you pour it in his drink."

This enough to sparkle the Queen's eyes while Warspite didn't buy it because she can tell that Poe is pulling the Queen's leg, but the Queen is too gullible to figure out and took the potion and the package.

QE(proud): "Don't worry we make sure the package is going to Fredrich."

The girls exit the store while Poe is laughing of how it was easy to trick the Queen.

Poe(laughing): "That idiot. That potion is nothing more than a dirty water that was drain from the sink pipe, but she doesn't know that."

Poe return to his paperwork and listen to the music from the radio.

Time Skip
Interrogation Room, Azur Lane

We can see Queen Elizabeth in the interrogation room with Belfast and Enterprise with a angry look on their face while the Queen is sweating bullets.

Enterprise(angry): "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?"

QE(crying): "I didn't know that bottle contains dirty water. It was Poe's fault for giving me that bottle."

Belfast: "We talk with him and say that he didn't give you the bottle."

QE(shock): "What? What about Warspite? She can confirm it."

Enterprise: "We did and say that she didn't know anything about the bottle."

QE(shock): "WARSPITE! You Traitor."

Meanwhile at the other side of the window of the interrogation room; we can see Warspite sighing knowing that she lie to everyone because she didn't believe the Queen would fall for something like that, but decide to give the dirty water to the Admiral which is now in the hospital after he got poison.

Warspite(thought): "Sorry, but I have to do it. I didn't think that you do it, but you did."

Meanwhile
Roon's Room, Iron Blood

We head to Roon's Room who have a beautiful black flower that she got from the package that was send to Fredrich der Grosses which is a bottle of perfume, case of high-rank whiskey, a black flower for Roon, and a couple of new equipment for their rigs.

Roon(happy): "At least I don't need to worry about someone going after him. He's mine and mine alone."

She say that while maintain her rig with the new equipment from Poe and she learn the news is that the Admiral got sick from drinking a dangerous water source from Elizabeth and now she is been question of possible of assassination attempt or she just a stupid person, but the interrogation is the least of her worries because when the yandere girls found out about it; they decide to pay the Queen a visit, but that's for another time. As the Roon; she is just happy that Poe give her something nice while the Queen is getting chase by the yandere girls.
