"YES!" I scream. I jump in his arms and I start kissing my fiance. "I love you."he whispers. "I love you too." I whisper back. I hop down and he slides the ring in my finger. We hold hands and walk back in front of the restaurant. There stands my mom, Noah, Carter, and Nick waiting for us. "Where were you guys?" Carter asks. I look up at Elliot and he states, "Making history." I laugh. We all hop in the car. "We need to talk when we get back." Carter whispers. We arrive at the house .Mom and Noah head to their room, Nick and Elliot head to the guest room, and Carter and I head toward the woman cave.
"Explain everything!!" Carter yells. "Yeesh women, calm down" I tell her while showing my engagement ring. "Oh My Gosh!!!!! How can I calm down?!" she screams excitedly. The door slams open and my mom comes down with a bat. "What happened? Are you okay!?!?" My mom asks frantically. "Nothing, it's just that I'm getting married." I say in a calm voice. "Oh , okay then. Wait,WHAT!!!! Oh my child is getting married. I need to prepare." She runs over to me and starts hugging me. She just told me a week ago that I'm so grown up. I show her the ring and her mouth drops open. She smiles and tells us goodnight then runs upstairs. I sit down with Carter and we switch on the television. We end up falling asleep to the sound of Jimmy Fallon's laugh.
As we wake up, we head toward the kitchen. We see Noah making coffee with an angry expression on his face and my mom is sitting in a chair facing the television and watching the news with a pale facial expression. When my mom sees me she starts to weep. "What's wrong mom?" I ask her, scared while rushing toward her. She looks at me then turns towards the television and rewinds.
