"Come on. God, help us. Don't leave me. I love you. I love you. I love you. Krystal." I hear his voice cracking. I start to try and move but it hurts. Elliot finally looks at me with both our eyes open. We have a little moment.
"I could never leave you. I love you." I whisper to him. I see him jump with joy in his eyes. He pulls me into a kiss.
"She's conscious. Thank you Jesus." Elliot says. As soon as he said that everyone rushed toward me. An ambulance's sirens start to ring. They come closer and closer. I don't know why, but I start to fall asleep. By the time I woke up I realized I was in the hospital. I look up to see the doctor standing over me with a smile on his face.
"Well, look who's awake." Dr. Kaitlin says. She freaking spit on me while she was saying look. What kind of doctor is she? Dr. Spity. "So, I have really good news and a little bad news." She says. "Good news is that you seem to be doing well. You have recovered really fast. You're better than we expected actually." Dr. Spitty said. Yes, I am calling her Dr. Spitty now. What? Its' not my fault that she has all these saliva cannonballs coming toward me. "Bad news is that you cracked a lower piece of your rib cage. You also took a hard blow to the head so we are going to give you medicine to take for your head for the next two weeks." I take in everything she says. All of a sudden it hits me. "Where's my dad at?" I ask worried. I look at them."What even happened ? I thought he took me." I tell them while I start crying.
"No, don't cry babe. It's okay." Elliot says running to my side. "I didn't know what to do. I should've done more. I'm so sorry. Baby, he got away. I ran towards him with a knife and started stabbing and punching him. He tripped me and got away. You were on the floor unconscious when we came back." Elliot explains as he cries. "Its' okay babe. You didn't know. I look around only to see my mom and Noah standing there. They walk towards me. "Hey sweetie. How are you doing?" My mom asks me in a fragile and worried tone. "I actually feel fine. Where's Nick and Carter?" I ask having no clue where they are. "Sweetheart, I am so sorry. She couldn't handle the pressure and she couldn't bear seeing you like this-" She starts." No, mom. Just tell me where she is." I interrupt her while raising my voice a little. She sighs. "She left with Nick and went back to Canada." My mom tells me as sadness fills her eyes. " Wait, What?" I ask her unsure of the words that just left her mouth. My eyes start to fill with tears."She left me. She freaking left me. Fine, I don't care. I am so glad she left." I say angrily. "NO, you don't mean that. She has been calling everyday wondering how you are." I look up at her with my mixed emotions. "Owwww" I yell out in pain as my stomach churns. What the? "Oh, sorry its just my menstruation." I tell them so they don't freak out. I hear my phone ringing in Elliot's back pocket. He reaches for it and hands it to me. I look at it and see I have a missed call from Carter, some old buddies from college, and an e-mail from The English Daily. " Did I miss something ?" I ask them. It's pretty unusual to get phone calls from people in college. "Oh yeah, You were a television star for a few days." Elliot explains with a smile in his face. Oh great I think. Wait, I look at my e-mail again. The English Daily e-mailed me. I read their issues all the time and I applied for a job a while back. "Guys, The English Daily contacted me." I tell them with glee. "Oh, what did they say?" Noah asks me excited for me. I open the e-mail and read it. Once I finish I look up with a sad look. "They just wanted me to re-subscribed" I tell them. " Oh sweetheart." My mom says sympathetically. I look up at all of them and a huge grin wears upon my face. "Just kidding. Guess what? They want me to transfer down to London, England to become the editor-in-chief of their newspaper. OH MY GOSH!!!" I tell them excitedly. " Yayyyyyy, my babys' the editor-in-chief." My mom says while doing a dance. "I always knew you could do it." Noah tells me "Baby, you are gonna be the best editor-in- chief there ever was." Elliot says excitedly. "DANCE PARTY!" I yell and start playing "Shake it Off" by Taylor Swift. Everyone gets up and dance. I even saw a nurse tapping her foot. I try as hard as I could to dance as I'm stuck in the bed with all the wires and machines around me. We dance until we don't have anymore energy. I think this is the most I've smiled in a while. I start cracking up laughing. "Well, we think we can release you in a few more hours. All you have to do is sign some paperwork, then we can take you off all these wires." The doctor says looking actually excited for me. Yayyy. Things aren't actually that bad.
