We have been here for about a week now. I am starting to get used to it. I am loving the new job. Tonight Elliot and I are going over his parents house for dinner. We are getting dressed and ready. Right when we walk out the door, I see Nick standing there with Carter in a makeout session. "Ewww, thats why you have a house dude." Elliot says laughing. Nick looks at him. "Your turn babe." Nick says slowly trying not to laugh. Elliot starts to turn red and freak out. We all start laughing. "I'll see you guys tomorrow. We have a dinner to go to." I tell them while getting in the car. "Bye!!" Carter yells. After Elliot gets in the car we turn up the radio and sing out loud to "Sing" by Ed Sheeran. Once we arrive we see a whole bunch of cars around the house. I start to tense up. I didn't realize that there would be other people. I thought it was just Elliot's parents. We get out of the car and walk up to the door. "Don't worry. Be yourself. They'll love you. It's just some of my mom's friends. I hesitate then ring the doorbell. Allison, Elliot's mom, opens the door. "Oh, welcome. I am so glad you could make it. Come on in." She says excitedly. We come in and she introduces us to some of her friends. After talking we split up. Elliot went with the boys to watch the game and I went with the ladies to help cook. They kept asking me questions about America. It was really weird. They still didn't get the fact that America's president is worshiped like the queen. I heard the doorbell ring and Elliot got it. "Ells!! I didn't know you were here. I thought you went to America. Babe, you gotta text me these things. I gave you my number remember?" Some really pretty girl with brunette hair comes in. You have to admit she is beautiful. She was wearing a short black dress that came down right after her butt. She was very curvy. She was interesting, but what was she doing flirting with my husband. Instantly after hearing that voice everyone rushes out of the kitchen. I see Elliot still hugging the girl. I'm trying hard not to be jealous because maybe there is an explanation. David, Elliot's dad, hops off the couch rushing towards a lady who looked to be the brunette's mom. He gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek. She just winked back. Wait, did I see that right? I must be making a mistake because David and Allison have been together since high school and Allison loves David with everything she has and would do anything for him. "Bailey and Julie. Hey ladies." Allison says running over there to hug them. Elliot and the brunette finally break apart. He sees me standing there looking clueless so he rushes to my side to bring me over. "Julie, this is my wife, Krystal." He introduces me. Her face turns from excitement to jealousy. "Hello, I am Julie Miller. It's nice to meet you. When did you guys get married." Julie manages to rush out. "We actually got married a few weeks ago and its the best choice I've ever made." I tell her while giving Elliot a peck on the lips. "Oh. Cool." She says shrugging. "How do you and Elliot know each other?" I ask her nicely. Her eyes widen and a smirk comes on her face. "Well, Elliot and I used to date." She tells me. "Oh, how long ago?" I ask. "Well we've been together since eighth grade and broke up a couple of months later after he went to America." She tells me as the smirk on her face grows. I wonder why the heck is she smirking until it hits me. How could I have been so stupid. Elliot dumped her right after he met me. She must have been heart broken. I look at her and smile."Oh, thats nice." I tell her. What was I suppose to say? I am so happy you two broke up because I couldn't have ever been married to him? I start looking to Elliot for back up support. "So, when is dinner ready mom?" Elliot calls into the kitchen trying to change the subject. "Now actually. Everyone go wash your hands." Allison announces. I walk away as quickly as possible from Julie. Every bathroom is full, so I go into the guest bathroom to see David in a full makeout session with Julie's mom. When they see me they break apart. I run out of there and down the stairs quickly, but not quick enough to hear David mutter some words that weren't so pleasant. I walk quickly into the kitchen with a disturbed look on my face. "Are you okay?" Elliot asks from behind. "Yeah. Quick question. If you caught Noah cheating on my mom would you tell me?" I ask him. "Of course I would, Why? Is he cheating because I will beat the crap out of him." Elliot says getting angry. "Nooo, I was just wondering. Let's go eat." I say changing the subject. At the dinner table Allison sits by David. David sits across from Julie's mom. Julie's mom sits by Julie who sits across from Elliot. I sit by Elliot. This is so messed up. So we start eating and I keep getting dirty looks from Julie. I try to ignore them so I won't act inappropriate. "So, how is life going so far Krystal. Since you just got married and all." David asks me. "It's new, but it's going great." I simply reply. "Well, I understand what it is like since Allison and I got married around that age. We've been together so long." David says. Now I see what he is doing. I can't do this. If I tell them it will hurt, but if I don't then it will hurt worse. "Krystal!!" Elliot says while waving his hand in front of me. "Sorry, I can't do this." I tell him. "What do you mean? You can't do what?" Elliot asked with worry in his voice. I look around the table and stand up. Julie smirks at me. David stares me down. Julie's mom looks scared and Allison is just concerned. " I can't sit at the table without everyone knowing the truth."I speak up. "Julie, David, and you." I say pointing at Bailey. "Please get the hell out of this house and don't ever return. Pack your bags David." I tell them calmly as a tear starts to roll down my cheek. How could he do this to this family? "What the heck. She is sooo crazy?" Julie suddenly yells. David is staring me down so hard his face is purple. "Honey, why would they leave?" Allison ask me. "Yeah." Elliot adds. "Why don't you ask your best friend, her daughter, and your husband." I tell them getting irritated now. I turn towards Allison. "I am so sorry Allison. When I went into the guest bathroom I stumbled across David and her in the bathroom kissing. I am so sorry." I say out loud. Silence hits us first. "You have to be lying. Is this true Bailey?" Allison says turning towards Bailey, Julie's mom. Bailey just starts crying. She cried so loud that we couldn't hear the words Allison was saying. They sounded pretty bad. My eyes look around the table. Elliot left to comfort his mom who started crying as well. Julie was looking shocked as her mom was drying her tears beside her. My eyes finally fall on David. He stands up and throws his chair at me. It was literally an inch away from me. I start to run and he runs toward the kitchen. He grabs some knives and makes his way outside where I am. "How dare you tell them that. I had everything perfect. I was going to tell her next week, right before Bailey, Julie, and I departed to Michigan in the states." He says angrily. "You were going to leave her. What did all those years mean to you? When would you possibly have time?" I ask curious and afraid. "I quit my job a couple weeks back. I always go to her house. Bailey and I have been together for three years. Before I quit my job, I would always visit her during my lunch break. There you know the truth. Now you have to pay for making my future wife cry." He says with a sinister smile. "Get away from her." Elliot voice says as it is filled with anger. David laughs. "Aww, Son. I am so sorry that you had to figure this out this way, but your mom has nothing to offer me anymore. She's useless." He says flatly. I grab the mace in my back pocket and slowly get closer to David. Elliot realizes what I am doing. "Why didn't you leave before?" Elliot ask. "Well, money. I knew if I keep not paying bills, which I have been hiding, then the bank would come by eventually to kick her out so she would be poor and I would be loving it. Go ahead push me or punch me. I know you won't. " David explains. "Turn around so I can punch you in the back. I want to break your spinal cord." Elliot says. "Fine, but any fishy stuff and your wife is dead. You already know my throwing skills." He says amused. He turns around and doesn't even get the chance to move before I spray the mace in his eyes. He starts screaming as the pain hurts. Elliot starts punching him. After a few minutes the cops show up and the neighborhood no longer seems silent.
