This is the day. I finally get to marry the love of my life. We have everything we need. I'm standing here in my dress about to walk down the aisle. After the bridesmaids and flower girl go, Carter walk with Nick as my maid-of-honor and Nick as Elliot's best man. I finally walk down the aisle to "American Beauty" by Thomas Newton. It was a classical choice that my mom chose. It was very nice. I walked down the aisle looking around seeing faces staring back at me smiling. I look around the room. Carter really did a good job. She has it as a Paris themed wedding with harps, stars, and a mini sculpture of the Eiffel tower. As I get closer I think of how far Elliot and I go back. How much he loves me. I step up onto the patio since it is an outside garden wedding. We stand face to face. I hear the priest say some words, but I was too focused on Elliot to hear them. I see my cousin, Elijah, coming over with the rings. I flash him a smile when I realize he is nervous. Once he saw me he smiled back and calmed down a bit. Finally I heard him say Vows. Elliot went first."Krystal, from the day I laid eyes on you, I knew you were special. Every moment I spend with you brings joy to my soul. I can't live without you. I pray to God every night just to thank him for the angel he sent in my life. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Elliot says while looking into my eyes and sliding the ring on my finger. "Elliot, my love. My best friend. You have been here with me through the ups and downs. You never left. You were always by my side. When I look at you I can't use words to describe how much I love you. I hope to spend the rest of my days with you by my side. Partners in crime." I tell him with a little laugh and proudly slide the ring on his finger. All I hear next is Elliot saying "I do." Its my turn, so I look deep in his eyes and say, "I do." We both smile at each other. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." We don't even let him finish before Elliot swoops me up and kisses me delicately. Everybody is clapping and whistling. "Mrs. Hobbs sounds good on you." Elliot says and kisses me lightly on the forehead before putting me down. We walk out and over to another area of the garden. It was set up with champagne, treats, and a mini stage. It was perfect. There were two special seats for Elliot and I by the front of all the tables. We walk over there and sit down. I see my mom walk up to the front of the stage and walk up to the microphone. "I promised myself I wouldn't cry. I remember when Krystal first got her bicycle and how I changed her diapers. Now when I look at her, I feel proud to know that she came from me. She is a great, intelligent, and loving daughter and I thank God for sending her to me. I remember when she first met Elliot. Everyday she would have a huge smile on her face because he talked to her. When he asked her out, I thought her head was going to explode. I was so happy for her and when I finally met him, I realized why she was freaking out. He was handsome, smart, generous, had manners and he was from another country. I thought that he could give her a cultural experience. I learned to adjust to him. It wasn't that hard either. He fit right in with our family especially with Noah. I thank you for always being there for my daughter. I bless your marriage and hope that you continually love each other forever." My mom finishes, but the tears came out right when she looked at me. I smile at her. She comes over and hugs Elliot and I. Next, Noah stands up and walks toward the stage to the microphone. "When I first met this family of two I could see the pain they had been through. I wanted to take it all away. I saw the hurt and I was determined to stop it. As soon as I joined the family I could see a little hope in their eyes. When I first joined our family it was obvious that I had to have my trust earned. It was okay. Once they realized I loved them and I was a normal awkward guy, they accepted me. Krystal is like a daughter to me. She is a daughter to me. I would do anything for her and she knows that. When I first met Elliot I had an instant liking. Not only were we both from the same country, but he was all I ever dreamed for Krystal to have. I wanted her to have the best and she got it. I hope you two live a happy life together." Elliot finishes and walks off the stage. Elliot's mom and dad walks up to the microphone. "We don't really spend that much time with Krystal, but we will in the future. It feels great to know that our son is happy and has finally met the one. When they first started dating, I remember hearing about her every night when he skyped us. Honestly, I believe Krystals my favourite awkward teenage girl or women now. God Bless and congratulations." They say smiling and walk off the stage. Carter walks up to the stage. She gets the microphone and starts talking, "I have known Krystal since high school. Feels like pre-school. I love her and love her opinions. When she first started dating Elliot, it was weird because she was rarely hanging with me for a movie night on Fridays and Saturdays. She was out having fun with her man, so it didn't bother me. One night she got home at three o'clock in the morning from hanging out with Elliot. They fell asleep in a park watching the sunset and dancing all night. When she tried to tiptoe past me I looked at her like she crazy. The whole world could hear her tiptoe. When she saw I was awake she stopped. I looked at her and said that if they don't get married I will kill him myself. She just laughed at me not realizing I had a serious face on. Krystal is an ordinary, unique, and beautiful girl. I am so glad I met her and Elliot." Carter says and walks off. "Can I?" I ask Elliot with a smile. He knows exactly what I am talking about. I walk up and start to talk into the microphone. "DJ, give me twenty-first century pop hits and lets have a dance party baby." I say laughing.
