Early May, The Pacific, Imperial Japan territory 1945

This time we had a link to enter the country. The navy of the Allies. That was our best shot. Now for the time being..

"Brace! Bombers incoming!' shouted a soldier.

Yep, we were stuck in a battle. Guess this sucks. I quickly slid and ducked under the wings of a fighter. I created a barrier of earth to block the blast. Water splashed from the sides of the ship. It rocked back and forth.

My cloak covered my injuries.

"Fighters, flak cannons on the double!"

"Kama, now!" Aliisa ordered Kama.

"On it master." Kama summoned her bow.

December, The Pacific 1944

We had been on this ship for a while. It was mostly filled with soldiers. I felt like one of them but not at the same time. Was it this feeling of remorse? I didn't want my sister to leave like that. I don't even know if she's alive.

Why did it happen? Saber. Inkeri. They both hurt. In different ways. The command spells are a reminder of that.

Currently, it was night. I walked the corridors alone. The soldiers knew that we were guests. Yet they didn't treat us differently. They treated us like comrades. I didn't know but these soldiers have loyalty I have never seen.

I reached the top deck without even thinking. There I found Assassin. Or Kama as she said to call her. Wait... I rushed to her side

Kama was on the ground. "Kama are you ok?" I checked her pulse and saw she was alive. I could sense her mana still.

"Yeah, I guess."

"What do you mean you guess? You scared me."

"Ehe. you like me that much?"

I didn't amuse her. "What's wrong? Your mana...it's different."

"My skill allows me to be without a master for a duration of time." she coughed up blood. "I guess the time has stopped."

"W-w-what if-" I grasped both of Kama's hands. "What if I became your master?"

"You would do that?"

"I can't lose a friend."

"I would hardly call us friends..."

"No, you helped us defeat a bunch of nasty people." I looked at my command spells. "Even if it means becoming a master again, I will help a friend in need."

"Then the deal is set, master." Kama had a grin.

Boom.

There was an explosion of light. I saw Kama, but she was different. She had blue flames along her arms. She floated in the air. I could tell my mana was what did that.

"Fufufu~ you are staring master, I can tell you secrets about love you never knew," she said as she descended "Nope, I'm good without it." I patted her white hair.

"Hey, I'm giving you a chance to know how to get a boyfriend!"

"Not interested."

"Why you-" she pouted.
