Chapter 10: The dreamscape part 1

Late October Chaldea 20XX

"Jeanne? Is that you?" y/N fell to the floor on his knees.

"What have you become Y/N?" she said, horrified by her previous master.

"I-I thought I would never see you again," he walked to me.

As he was about five feet away, the arts team arrived. Zhuge Liang trapped him in a prison.

He broke the prison easily, continuing, and stopped as he was face to face with me. He ran his hand through my hair. he took off his hood.

Just by his appearance alone, I could tell he was different. His eyes had dark bags under them, his face was covered with scars. The tattoo that healed him once before was now permanent on his neck. He wore a dark cloak with a hood. A shoulder plate adjourned him and a symbol was etched onto it. Multiple dog tags hung around his neck. He was not the same person I had made a contract with.

I don't know why but I began to cry. I don't know why, but I missed him. I hugged him. I could feel that he was cold to the touch. He wrapped his arms around me.

He separated from me. Only then did I notice the rest of the servants staring at us?

The intercom turned on.

"Testing, testing is this thing on....ok it is good." Gudao was speaking. "Um, how the heck do you know a Beast?" Gudako yelled with more Salt than Salter instead of her brother.

"Masters of Chaldea, it is not your concern."

"We will deploy more servants to end you,"

"How about this?" Y/N waved the black blade.

An immense aura came from the sword. A gust pushed back many of the servants in the room. The sword glowed a bright white. I recognized this power. The whole room glowed a bright white.

As the light faded, the servants that were absorbed into the blade appeared. They were unharmed. They pointed their weapons back at him and cornered him.

"Now masters of Chaldea, I accept you to form a contract with me..." Y/N said. He summoned the spear. It crackled with electricity. "Or do you wish for humanity to fall, and your work to be undone?"

"Will you comply with orders like a servant of Chaldea?"

There was silence in the room. All the servants were a bit uneasy, but they still aimed at Y/N. One wrong move and they would be dead.

"As long as you don't hurt those I hold dear," he said with a smile.

Early November Chaldea 20XX

It had been a few weeks since the incident that Y/N had caused. Many of the servants had grown to have a distaste for him. The few who remembered him were curious as to what led him to his current state. They mostly avoided him, and so did I. I didn't remember much of my time with him

Currently, it was lunch hour in Chaldea. The servants were all eating lunch. I looked at the empty table that Y/N sat at. I walked up and sat at the table.

"Hi Jeanne," he said under his hood.

"I don't go by that here, I go by Jalter,"

"I'm assuming because of you being an alter," I was a bit shocked by his response. It was weird that he knew that.
