Cayden lay in his bed tossing and turning at the horrible nightmare that had begun haunting him for as long as he could remember. The same nightmare where he walks throughout the house spotting blood on the walls. The blood on the walls led to the dead bodies of his parents, along with his sister standing there with glowing eyes growling at him, which caused an animalistic growl to leave his lips in return, before he lunged for his sister. Suddenly the dream changed to Cayden standing in a town that he had never been to before, watching as his sister is being dragged around by a big man, who has power rolling off of him. Cayden calls out to Natalia Rose in hopes to get her attention, but instead managed to get the attention of the man who oozed danger, turning and growling at him, as he crouched down low, getting ready to strike. As the man attacked, Cayden jumped awake letting out a scream as he did so.

Janice and her daughter Natalia rushed into the room to see what caused Cayden to scream, which woke them and his father Dean up.

"Cayden, honey it's alright. It's mom," Janice said as she approached her son.

Natalia rolled her eyes before speaking up to let her brother know she was there too. "And your darling sister, Natalia Rose. I take it you had the same nightmare that has been plaguing you for quite some time now."

"How did you know about that," Cayden asked while looking at his sister in shock.

"Magic Cayden," Natalia Rose replied sarcastically.

Janice turned to give her daughter a stern look, telling her not to start with that. "Honey, don't you think you and Cayden are a little old to believe in such things like magic?"

"Don't close your mind off to the possibilities, mother. There are many different things out there that you choose to ignore," Natalia Rose snapped at her mother.

"Natalia Rose now you're being silly. I keep telling you repeatedly that werewolves are made-up. They were created to keep troublesome kids in line. Though it doesn't seem to have any effect on you. You live for that kind of thing," Janice replied.

Natalia Rose rolled her eyes again before turning her attention to Cayden. "Want to talk about the dream that you had?"

"No. Cayden will not be talking about that terrible nightmare that is always plaguing him when he tries to get a goodnights sleep. I personally think it's only a nightmare that is brought on by stress. Nothing more, nothing less," Janice said.

"Are you sure that's all that it is," Natalia Rose challenged.

"Yes. Now go to bed," Janice said before Natalia Rose walked out of the room. Janice then turned to look at Cayden. "Don't listen to anything that Natalia Rose has to say. She's always looking for an excuse to talk about supernatural things with anyone."

"Mom, don't you ever wonder where Natalia Rose goes for several weeks when she's not with us," Cayden asked.

"Cayden, I already told you, Natalia Rose goes to school. She's even found a place that is close for her to live, so that way she doesn't have a long commute. She's only back home to gather all of her things so that way she can move them into her new place," Janice said.

"Don't you find it a bit odd that we don't have an address or a name of the town that Natalia Rose is living in? Don't you want to know these things in case you want to go and pay her a visit," Cayden asked.

"Natalia Rose doesn't want me to visit. Besides, she's always looked forward to the day that she could break free from the house. Ever since she turned seventeen years old, she and I have always been clashing with one another. I just don't know what happened to the little girl that I had so long ago," Janice said.

"Have you tried talking to her about her sudden change," Cayden asked.

"Truth be told, I'm kind of scared to ask her about it. I may not like the answer she gives me," Janice said.

"Mom, you're always telling me not to fear anything. Maybe you should take your own advice and not fear talking to Talia. Who knows, maybe it will help clear the air between the both of you," Cayden said.

Janice thought about it for a moment. Maybe Cayden has a point. Maybe I will be able to get somewhere, if I try and speak with Natalia Rose about what is really going on, Janice thought to herself.

"I'll talk to Natalia Rose in the morning. I don't think she is willing to talk to me about what is going on right now," Janice said. "Have a goodnight, Cayden. You have a big day tomorrow." Janice then made her way out of the room, making her way to her room. On her way to her bedroom, Janice stopped outside of her daughter's room, wanting to speak to her daughter, but decided against it, wanting to give her daughter time to cool off.

The next morning Cayden woke up doing his morning routine before making his way downstairs to where his sister was sitting at the table in the kitchen sipping her coffee.

"I didn't expect you to be awake before I made my way to school," Cayden said a bit shocked to find his sister sitting there.

"You didn't think that I would go and miss your first day as a senior at school, as well as your day being a big football star did you," Natalia Rose asked before letting out a gasp. "Cayden Richards! I'm quite insulted that you would go and think that I would miss an important day for you. That and I want to be the one to personally wish you good luck."

"Are you going to stick around long enough to speak to mom? She worries about you, you know? She misses the days when you would open up and talk about everything with her," Cayden tried to convince Natalia Rose to stick around and speak to their mother.

"I believe I have overstayed my welcome. I need to be on my way out of here so that I can get my new place set up. Once things calm down, I will meet you somewhere and we can hang out or something, because I doubt mom wants me coming around, darkening her doorway," Natalia Rose said while getting up to walk over to place her cup in the sink, as her mother walked into the kitchen. "Great"

"Talia, do you have a moment to spare? I know I'm the last person you want to speak to right now, but it would be nice if you and I could talk for a moment before you leave," Janice said.

"I don't have a moment to spare. I was hoping to get on the road as soon as Cayden was getting ready to leave for school. Don't worry, there will be opportunities for us to talk, much later down the line," Natalia Rose said beginning to make her way to the back door.

"Talia, stop. Just hear what mom has to say," Cayden said causing Natalia Rose to stop in her tracks and roll her eyes.

"Cayden, I don't have to stand here and listen to your mother. She's made it clear that she doesn't want me around. So, I'm granting her wish and disappearing from her life," Natalia Rose said.

"Natalia Rose, please allow me a chance to speak to you," Janice begged.

"Why? So you can hurt me again? Are you not satisfied that I am picking up the damn pieces like a big girl? Isn't that what you wanted," Natalia Rose snapped on her mother. Natalia Rose then turned to look at Cayden. "Cayden get to school, that way you're not late. I won't be talking to your mother long. I also promise that I won't hurt her feelings." Cayden left leaving Natalia Rose standing there in the yard with Janice.

"Natalia Rose," Janice began.

"Get to the point, so I can leave," Natalia Rose snapped.
