Choose Wisely

Chapter 3

Natalia Rose quickly placed the gas in the car, hoping to get out of there before anyone could approach her and ask her questions about the encounter she had with Kino. Unfortunately, it seemed that the Goddess above had other plans, because the gas station clerk saw the whole thing and came out to check on her.

"Is everything alright? That man didn't do anything to hurt you, did he," the clerk asked.

"No, that was just my uncle telling me where to meet him and that he was getting a head start," Natalia Rose said.

"Are you sure, because you look pretty upset," the clerk said.

"I'm sure. I had a terrible morning with my mother who made it clear to me that I'm not a golden child in her eyes. Nothing out of the ordinary," Natalia Rose said. "I should be going now. Thank you for checking up on me.: Natalia Rose then jumped in the car before racing off to her destination, hoping that when she got there, he would be in a good mood.

Natalia Rose reached her destination, silently hoping that when she stepped out of the car, that she can make it to her room, without running into him, receiving punishment right away. Natalia Rose wanted a few moments of alone time before dealing with any rage that is being sent her way.

"Chances of me making it to my room without punishment is very slim. I know that he is waiting for me to step foot out of my car, before he calls me to him, so he can get right to dishing out the punishment. Unless I get out of the car, run straight to my room, and don't stop running; even if he calls out to me. Don't stop and keep running to my room until I'm in the safety of my room and wait for him to make his way to my room and give me all the punishment that is owed along with the punishment on top of that for running away from him and ignoring him when he calls out to me," Natalia Rose said to herself, taking a deep breath trying to gather the courage to make her way out of the car.

Natalia Rose threw the car door open, jumping out and shutting the door before making a mad dash to her room. As Natalia Rose was close to the door of the house, Natalia Rose heard the booming voice of the man she feared, calling out her name.

Keep pushing yourself to keep going. You're almost at the safety of the house, where you can go to the room and lock the door, and hope that he doesn't break the door down out of rage. Please let him be in a forgiving mood and allow him to go easy on me when he dishes out his punishment, Natalia Rose to herself as she ran in the house. Natalia Rose wasted no time running up the stairs to her room, as she heard the thundering footsteps coming from behind her; telling Natalia Rose that Connor was extremely pissed off that she chose to ignore him calling out her name, as though he wasn't calling out her name.

Natalia Rose was running up the stairs as he burst through the front door, coming up behind her, grabbing hold of her leg, causing Natalia Rose to fall and hit her head on the stairs. Before Natalia Rose had a chance to crawl away from her attacker, she was flipped over, and was met with the angry stare of her tormentor...the very man who haunts her nightmares.

"Connor," Natalia Rose gasped out.

"I know you heard me calling your name. Yet you still chose to ignore me, thinking that you could get away with ignoring me. You know the consequences of ignoring me, let alone trying to get out of your punishment for disobeying me. Did you honestly believe that you could get out of this," Connor growled out.

"Please forgive me Connor. I didn't mean to ignore you. It was my fight or flight instincts kicking in. That and I knew you would punish me in front of the others that you created, and I didn't want to give them the satisfaction of seeing me being punished. I feared that if you punished me in front of the others, they would see me as weak. That and I fear that they would try to demand things of me, knowing that I would refuse them, so they would have a reason to beat me," Natalia Rose said all while trying to ignore the throbbing pain she felt in her head.

Connor growled. "You are mine! They know this. Have any of those idiots tried to lay a hand on you?"

"Give your half breed dimwits some credit. They are smart enough to not do anything, unless they see that I am weak, then they would make an attempt to try something. Besides your half breeds know that if they try something before, they see you beat me in front of them, then they know they will have to talk to you, which I know they don't want to do. But they are waiting for you to beat me so they can take that as an okay for them to do the same thing to me," Natalia Rose said hoping to make Connor forget that he originally planned to punish her. Unfortunately, her plan didn't work because Connor caught onto her plan and let out a dangerous growl.

"Did you really think that you could distract me long enough to get me to forget about you needing to be punished for showing me disrespect," Connor growled out.

"Please Connor, you don't have to punish me. Isn't you tripping me up the stairs, causing me to bash my head on the stairs enough punishment? You don't have to cause me anymore pain," Natalia Rose begged.

Connor grabbed Natalia Rose by her neck in a tight grip, but not tight enough to keep her from having difficulties breathing. "You can beg all you want, but that won't stop you from receiving punishment for what you had done. You need to learn not to show disrespect to me. I am your alpha, and you will be a good little wolf and listen to me. I can't allow you to think that you can get away with doing what you want." Connor picked Natalia Rose up by her neck, before throwing her up the stairs, causing Natalia Rose to roll on the floor by the bedroom door. Natalia Rose attempted to get up but was stopped when she felt Connor grab her by the back of her neck, picking her up and throwing her in the bedroom, before stomping in the room, slamming and locking the door behind himself to prevent Natalia Rose from trying to escaped from her punishment.

Natalia Rose screamed hoping that someone would hear her, though she knew that no one would come running to help her, due to them wanting to stay on Connor's good side.

"Scream all you want my little mate. You know as well as I do that nobody is going to come to your rescue. They are smart not to cross me," Connor growled out before grabbing hold of her and throwing her on the bed, climbing on top of her, pinning her down.

"Connor, think about what you are doing! You don't want to do this. If you go through with forcing yourself on me, then you run the risk of getting me pregnant. If you do that then you won't be able to go and mate with Angelina to get a son like you want," Natalia Rose said hoping to snap some sense into Connor, hoping that he wouldn't go through with forcing himself on her.

Connor growled at Natalia Rose. "You think that I would mate with Angelina? Why would I want to go through with mating Angelina, when I have a little wolf who comes from the old lines, and is a purebred wolf? Why would I want to go to town and chase after Angelina, when I have you under me right now? You are willing to be a good girl to me, and you wouldn't dream of going against me. I have the perfect woman right here to give me a son that I want. Should I not get a son the first time around, then we will keep going at it until you give me the son that I desire."
