Cornelius ignored his ringing phone wanting to get a bit of sleep before going to face Miguel at the office since, the latter had made it a mantra to disturb him in his office over the past week he came to work rubbing it to my face that I couldn't do shit to stop him from working at the company but I ignored his childish antics because I had something in store for him.
Also it been a week since he talked to his Papa because he had decided to move back to apartment not wanting to be near his birth father after he blindly, chose the side of Miguel and I wouldn't blame him because over the years Miguel has acted more of a son to my own father because I was busy with the company but even so it hurts looking at the unconditional love that my Papa had for my cousin who unfortunately was using his love to win a stupid and petty fight with me or more like envy.
My phone rang again and it pulled me out of my thoughts and I picked up not looking at the name of the caller and was about to snap at the caller but the familiar voice that I heard on the other side of the phone and have missed dearly for the past ten years stopped my incoming outburst.
"Happy birthday, happy birthday to dear Cornelius,happy birthday to you."Overwhelmed with emotions at my cousin inlaw voice made my day because I have missed the voice of the male sub so much.
"Thank you so much Mags."
"Aww my baby you are much welcome and happy 30th birthday to you baby.Annie and I have missed you so much sweetie."
"Gosh Mags you are making me emotional,I didn't even remember that today is my birthday and fyi I am no longer a baby."I pouted cutely even though he wasn't here to see me and anyone that wasn't close to me ever saw this side of me then they would die of shock plus Mags has been the only one to bring the baby in me out since years now.
"Oh shit up Corny , you're always going to be my number one baby."I growled at that stupid nickname that mags refused to stop calling me with and as if taking delight in my misery he started laughing loudly at me.
"Annie you better warn you man-child husband before I come to country F to come whip his ass."I said playfully and Annie being Annie sighed loudly on the phone before going back to do whatever she was doing because she knew that whenever both Mags and I hear from each other,we were going to tease the hell out of each other.
"Come get me you stupid but adorable baby of mine."I was tempted to book a flight there to really do as I say but I refrained because I knew that I would stay there longer because of how much I missed them so much.
"Well you don't need to book any flight because in the next three days we would be coming back."Annie who happened to have come back announced to me and I squealed happily while Mags was cursing my cousin for telling me about it because he wanted to surprise me.
(Annie is Cornelius' cousin from his Papa side of the family while Miguel is his cousin from his deceased father's side.I kinda of forgot his Papa's name so I would use Jim because I am so lazy to go back to the plot to find the name so please bear with me.A/N)
