"Cousin over here"A soft voice sounded calling Cornelius over to their table they were at.
He majestically walked to the table that the other subs were occupying or rather the table that Miguel and his brainless sidekicks were sitting at.
"Thank God that you were able to make it cousin."Miguel smiled sweetly at Cornelius that anyone would find it hard to believe that behind that beautiful smile was a dark soul that would kill without blinking an eye.
"Yeah,unlike some people Miguel why don't you tell me how the marriage plans of you and your fiance is going."Roland,a very good friend of Miguel asked wanting to make a mockery of Cornelius that most of them were married here and those who weren't were engaged or in a relationship that made Cornelius look like an old maiden.
"Ro,please stop it I don't want cousin to feel uncomfortable since he is running a big corporation and I am angry at Siaw because he didn't listen to my words and bought me the limited edition channel bag I had my eyes on,gosh he is something."Miguel pretended to be caring about his cousin but was just rubbing it in Cornelius face that he had a man that was ready to spend on him and at the same time make the others envious of him to which worked because they were looking at him with undisguised envy that he felt so proud of himself but was a bit angry that Cornelius showed little to no emotions on his pokerface but he assured himself that his plans were about to be in motion and very soon Cornelius would look at him with jealous.
"Oh wow, Miguel you are a true winner in life because Siaw got you the limited edition channel bag that is only two in this world.I wish my husband was as half as generous as Sean is to you."
"Please stop it Zane can't you see that Miguel is all red with shyness."
The rest joined in teasing Miguel playfully that the latter pretended to be a white lotus.
"Um, cousins I wanted to ask if you would come to Roland's art exhibition next week since today's exhibition was cancelled but I will understand if you don't want to show up since you are a busy person."Miguel bit his lips nervously looking a bit wronged and if one wasn't careful they would think that Cornelius was abusing him and oh my,his brainless sidekicks jumped to their master's rescue making it seem that he was the villain and how he was enjoying the lousy performance of Miguel's white lotus act and his sidekicks taunting words at him but as usual he didn't reveal any emotion just peacefully savoring the food that he ordered.
"Look at how rude your cousin is can't believe how you love him and protect him when he has been really cold and mean to you since you guys were kids."Miguel faked a glare at Zane pretending that he didn't enjoy the tone that Zane was using on his cousin.
