"So,this has been what you felt all those ten years, then why get stuck in marriage with a foolish and naive Dom like me?"The question of Lexis brought a sour taste to Douglas or rather made him feel guilty because Lexis had not been only a good husband but also a good Dom but his loathe and ego made him refuse to see the truth because to him all Doms were bad and didn't deserve any ounce of mercy nor forgiveness and even Lexis was no exemption.

"That was because you were so stupid and easy to control blinded by your needy self want for love."A single tear snaked down Lexis' face but he wiped it immediately,not wanting to look weak.

"So,what do you desire Douglas?"Even at this moment he still took into consideration the wants of Douglas that one didn't know if to call him a fool or just a man in love and on the quest to be loved.

"I want a divorce."Douglas stated blankly but he couldn't help but feel a sting in his heart at the words that came out of his mouth but the was no going back not now nor later.

"How could you do this to me?"Lexis asked Josephine who had come into the room with Grace along looking at her brother with a guilty expression and somewhat wronged face.

"Am sorry, I love brother-in-law and I didn't mean for this to happen, after our drunk moments which led to having an intimate night with Douglas,I fell for him,brother you can hit me or slap me because I am a sinner but don't hurt Douglas nor my child,please I beg you Lexis."Josephine grabbed Lexis' hands kneeling and tearfully begging him while acting like the one in the wrong was Lexis and not them.

Lexis looked at his so called sister not believing that she would do this to him but at this moment he truly understood what his Papa felt when he discovered the infidelity of his mother and Cherry,seems like history is indeed repeating itself again.

"Fair enough then I agree to the divorce but Mr Douglas Ofori make sure to take your mother and side chic from my house in less than 24 hours also make sure that you leave my house with nothing but your clothes and this also apply to both of them as well."Douglas and Josephine looked scared shitless at the cold face of Lexis.

"You're heartless."Grace shouted at the departing Lexis who stopped to look at the woman he called mother-in-law for ten freaking years and couldn't help but laughed.They did this to him but still called him heartless,this was him being merciful because if he comes back after 24 hours and finds them in his house then they would know the true meaning of heartless.

"A barren person like you,can never know the joys of parenthood."Irked by Lexis' laugh, Grace continued with her hurtful words to Lexis forgetting that he wasn't barren because his true biology wasn't meant to produce an offspring and that her son nearly destroyed his biology.

"As for that, time will tell and Josephine Caleb indeed no matter how well dressed a pig is he would also remain a dirty pig.But what could I expect from a child born from infidelity."Lexis said and carefully savoured the grim face of Josephine when he said that because as infidelity and betrayal was his Achilles heel so was the origin of Josephine's birth her Achilles heel.
