2. New neighborhood

Lucillia's POV

After the long drive we finally arrived at the house, it looked really nice and fancy. It was a 2 story house with balcony's coming out of certain rooms.

"Hope you kids like the new house" dad said walking towards the door, holding hands with mum.

He opened the door and the inside was better than the outside. There was lots of space everwhere and it was just really big.

"Race you upstairs Lucillia" Carter yelled.

We ran upstairs and he just beat me. I poked my tongue out at him and then we both started laughing.

I opened one of the doors and the room was amazing, I think this will be mine. The carpet was so soft on my feet and it was pearly white. The walls were a nice light blue colour and there was a nice mirror hanging up on the wall opposite where I will put my bed. At the end of the room were sliding doors which probably led to a balcony.

I opened a door which was next to my bed space and found a bathroom, there was another door in the bathroom which would probably lead to Carter's room.

I grabbed my bag from the car and went out the backyard, I grabbed my soccer ball and started juggling. I booted it and it accidentally went over the fence. Oh god!

I got to the neighbour's door and knocked. A girl answered the door but she was just typing away at her phone. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Hi, can I help you?" She asked.

"Hi, my name's Lucillia, I just moved in next door and accidentally kicked my soccer ball over the fence, could you please get it for me?"

"Sure babe" she said to me before walking away.

She was actually really pretty. She had green eyes and long blonde wavy hair and a really good body. She looked around my age, maybe she goes to the school that I am going to here.

She came back with my ball in her hands.

She gave it to me and smiled.

"By the way my name's Britney"

"Well thank you for getting my ball Britney, hopefully we could be friends or something"

"Yeah I would like that, you are really pretty by the way"

"Thank you, so are you"

"Thanks. What school are you going to?"

"I'm going to East Valley High"

"Oh I go there"

"That's great" I said smiling at her.

"Are you a model?" She asked me randomly.

"Um no why?"

"It's just that you look like a model"

"Aw thanks!"

"Um I should probably get heading home so I can unpack but thank you for getting my ball for me. It was nice meeting you Britney"

"Lucillia can I have your number?"

"Sure"

She handed her phone to me and I put my name and number in her contacts.

"Thanks, I will see you tomorrow Lucillia, it was nice meeting you"

I gave her a hug before waving and walking back home.

I opened the door and no one was in the lounge room but all the furniture was just sitting there.

I walked into the kitchen and mum was sitting on the counter making out with dad. Ew I did not need to see that.

I ran upstairs into Carter's room and he was on the phone to someone.

"Yeah baby ill miss you to"

"Yeah"

"Mhm"

"Okay baby"

"I'll talk to you later"

"Bye"

He hung up the phone and put it in his pocket.

"Oooooh was that your girlfriend?" I teased him.

"No that was just Jules"

"Okay just saying, there is a really pretty girl who lives next door"

"Really?" He asked excitedly.

"Yeah, her names Britney and she is going to our school"

"Hmmmm interesting" he said smiling and nodding his head. I messed up his hair and ran into my room.

All my furniture was piled in the middle of my room.

After a few hours of packing and moving around I was done and my room looked perfect.

I flopped down on my bed and grabbed my phone.

I turned it on and had a message from Britney.

'Hey Lucillia, it's Britney, this is my number so yeah :) I guess I will see you around!'

I saved her number into my phone and got into my pyjamas, which was some short pyjama shorts and Levi's jumper.

I jumped under the covers and went to bed.
