16. There when I need you

Lucillia's POV

Mum took my upstairs to her room and we laid down with me in her arms. She rubbed my back while I cried into her chest.

"Baby girl, shhhh. Calm down princess. What's wrong? Why are you crying. Shhhhh" she said soothingly while rubbing my back calmly.

"Le...Levi... He cheated.. On me... With... With Annie" I cried I'm her arms.

"Oh my poor baby" she said squeezing me tightly.

I cried even harder and dad ran into the room.

He said something to mum but I didn't hear what it was. She said something back and then he left the room.

"Let it all out baby"

"Why did he do that to me mumma? I thought he loved me"

"Baby it's alright, he's stupid for letting you go like that, you deserve better munchkin. Just cry"

I ended up crying myself to sleep and slept in my mums arms in her bed. It was good that she was here for me when I needed her most.

I woke up and mum was awake and looking at me while stroking my hair.

"Morning baby, do you wanna go to school today? You can stay home if you want"

"Nah i'll go to school. I'll be fine" I said bluntly getting out of bed.

I had a quick shower and just stood there crying. I couldn't be bothered to wash my hair or wash myself so I just stood there until Carter started slamming on the door wanting to come in.

I turned the shower off and wrapped a towel around me.

I walked to my room and got dressed into a white tank top, black sweatpants and an orange hoody with my black toms.

I did my hair in a messy ponytail, brushed my teeth and walked downstairs. I didn't want to wear any make up today cause I knew that it would get messed up as soon as I started crying.

"Want some breakfast sweetie?" Mum asked me when I walked through the kitchen.

I shook my and kept walking towards the lounge room.

I laid down on the couch with my face pressed down on it.

I started crying and curled into a ball just crying my eyes out.

"Luc you alright?" Carter asked from beside me.

I shook my head and he gave me my phone and my school bag,

I thanked him and walked out by his side with dad already waiting in the car.

Mum quickly ran out and motioned for me to wind the window down.

I did as she said and she gave me a take away cup filled with hot chocolate.

"Have a good day at school beautiful" she said smiling at me.

"Thanks mum"

I smiled weakly at her and wound up the window.

"Where is my hot chocolate" Carter said from the back seat.

Dad started the car and drove off with a pouting Carter in the back seat.

"Carter. Lucillia is going through some tough stuff right now, so just drop it"

"Yes dad" he said.

"Did mum tell you?" I asked dad quietly with no tone in my voice, just bluntness.
