20. Go for it

Sorry for the short chapter but you will love it if you are Team Jesse! Lucillia's POV

I walked downstairs and got my hot chocolate from mum and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

I hopped in the car and we drove off to school.

I pulled my shorts down that had drifted up and straightened them out.

I was wearing dark blue short shorts, black toms and a cute Mickey Mouse shirt that had cut outs on the side so you could see my black lace bra.

My hair was perfectly straightened and put in a braid which was flicked over one shoulder so it hung down to my ribs.

We arrived and I said bye to my dad and walked into the building.

I saw Jesse in the corridor talking to Blake.

I walked over to them and Blake smirked at me. Does he ever smile or does he just smirk?

"Hey Jesse. Blake" I said smiling at Jesse.

"Hey Lucillia" Jesse said giving me a hug.

I hugged him back tightly and he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I blushed and we started walking to home room. Jesse wrapped one arm around my waist and I leaned into him. I could feel Blake's eyes on us and when I looked at him he smirked and winked at me.

I bit my lip and looked away from him. We walked into home room and Britney looked at me and Jesse and ran over to me.

She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the back of the classroom.

"What's going on between you and Jesse?" She asked with a smile.

"I don't know" I said blushing like mad.

"You're blushing! Tell me everything"

"Well um he came over on Saturday to help me babysit my cousin and yeah we just clicked, I don't know"

"Do you like him?"

I looked over at Jesse and he looked at me and smiled. I smiled back and looked back at Britney.

"Well do you?" She asked.

"I don't know, maybe"

"Just go for it. It's so obvious that he likes you. Give him a chance I reckon"

I gave her a hug and she moved her head over in Jesse's direction.

"What do I do?"

"Just give him hints that you like him and then at lunch just go up to him and kiss him"

"I don't know Brit"

"Please for me" she begged.

"Fine" I said. I tried to make an angry face at her but I couldn't keep the smile off my face.

I think I was finally going to be happy. I knew that Jesse was going to make me happy all the time and he wasn't going to hurt me.

First up I had drama with Britney, Blake and Jesse.

We all walked to class and put our bags down. I was about to sit down but Britney nodded her head at me and raised her eyebrows.

I looked at Jesse and he was talking with Blake about something.

"Go sit on his lap or something" she said quietly.

I blushed and nodded my head. I don't know why I was nervous, I guess Jesse just made me nervous cause I didn't wanna stuff this up.

I walked over to him and sat down in his lap. I think he was a bit shocked at first but then he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"What are you doing?" He whispered in my ear.

"What? Can't I sit in your lap?" I asked him quietly.

"Yeah you can. I was just wondering" he said into my neck making me giggle.

I looked at Britney and she winked at me and put her thumbs up.

"Okay class today we are going to do some trust exercises so get into groups of 4 and you will be switching between everyone"

Us 4 got together and stood in a circle.

"Okay who wants to go first?" I asked everyone.

"You and Jesse can go first"

I stood in front of Jesse but facing away from him and breathed in and out slowly.

I fell backwards and he caught me swiftly in his arms.

He lifted me back up and I kissed him on the cheek.

Next was Britney and Jesse, then Jesse and Blake, then Britney and Blake and now it was Blake and I.

"I promise I won't let you fall" he whispered in my ear.

I fell backwards but couldn't sense Blake behind me. I fell onto the ground hard and winced in pain.

I heard Blake laughing loudly but he was the only one laughing.

"What the hell Blake!" Britney squealed.

"Are you okay?" Jesse asked me crouching down so he could help me out.

I reached out and stroked his cheek and he smiled at me.

"You okay Lucillia?"

"Yeah"

I stood up and punched Blake in the chest playfully.

"Jerk" I said with a smile on my face.

"You have to admit it was pretty funny"

"Whatever"

I walked towards the cafeteria and I was shaking a little bit. Throughout the day I have been flirting with Jesse and giving him little hints that I like him, like Britney told me to do.

I know that I have kissed Jesse before but this was different. This was going to be in front of everyone in the school.

I walked inside and Britney locked eyes with me and smiled. Jesse had his back to me so that was good.

I snuck up behind him and took in a deep breath.

I tapped his shoulder and he turned around to face me. I grabbed the sides of his face in my hands and captured his lips in mine.

His lips were soft but firm against my lips and they moved perfectly against mine.

I pulled away from the kiss but kept my forehead against his.

"I think I like you Lucillia" he said quietly.

"I think I like you too Jesse" I said back just as quiet with a smile on my face.
