31. Can't stay away

Lucillia's POV

Over the past week heaps of things have changed. Britney has been clinging to Blake like there is no tomorrow and Blake and I have come a lot closer.

We haven't kissed or anything but we talk a lot more at school when Britney isn't around or Jesse and when I am tutoring him we do half an hour of studying and then the rest of the time cuddling.

I like him so much but I just don't know what to do with Jesse. I can't break up with him. I just can't. He doesn't deserve that. He loves me so much but I just don't, well not like that anyways. I love him like a best friend but that's it.

I sat in Sports Science, the one class that I had with Blake and was just tapping my pen against the desk.

I grabbed my notebook and started writing and drawing against the page. I wasn't even watching what I was doing, I was just doing whatever came to mind.

I looked down at the page and saw I had written out Blake's whole name and drawn a whole bunch of love hearts around it.

I quickly slammed the book shut and looked at Blake who was smirking at me.

I turned bright red and looked away from him.

Blake put his hand on my leg and squeezed it slightly.

"Blake stop" I said quietly and then giggled.

"Is there something you want to share with the class Miss Morriati?"

"No sir"

"C'mon Lucillia. Tell us what is so amusing"

"Blake was just tickling me"

"Well Blake keep your hands to yourself"

Everyone laughed to themselves and continued on with their work.

Talk about embarrassing.

It was our first break and we had soccer training. We would usually have it on second break but the coaches were busy.

Blake and I were laughing and talking about the game on the weekend when he tripped some kid over and he face planted in the mud.

"He was so mad after that but it was so funny. You should have seen his face! It looked like he wanted to punch me" Blake said while laughing nearly the whole way through it.

I giggled and he hugged me tightly.

I hugged him back just as tight and saw that Jesse was staring at us.

I quickly let go of Blake and ran over to him.

I grabbed the ball off him and he sighed. 

 "Lucillia give me the ball back" he said sternly.

I went to throw it back to him but I tricked him and fake threw it.

"Lucillia just give me the damn ball" he said sourly.

"What's wrong Jesse?" I said giving him the ball.

"Nothing. Just go back to Blake"

"Is that what this is about?" I asked with my arms crossed over my chest.

"Yes that is what this is about! You hardly spend any time with me! You are always spending time with Blake! Whenever I want to hang with you, you are always with Blake. I'm sick of it Lucillia"

"Woah what's going on here?" Blake asked.

"Of course you're here Blake. Just stay away from my girlfriend!"

"She doesn't want to stay away and neither do I" Blake said with a smirk.

"What are you talking about?" Jesse asked.

Blake and Jesse both looked at me and a tear leaked from my eye.

I can't believe this is happening.

"I'm so sorry Jesse" I said quietly.

He looked at me in disappointment and more tears fell down my face. He stormed away and I ran after him.

"Jesse please just hear me out" I pleaded.

"I'll see you at lunch"

"Actually we have history together and then maths before lunch"

"I was trying to make a dramatical exit" he said before walking off.

I dropped my head down and started crying into my hands.

Someone came up to me and rubbed my back soothingly.

"It'll be alright Luc" Blake whispered in my ear.

I broke down again and Blake helped me with walking to my next class.

I hope that Jesse isn't to mad at me. He didn't even let me explain anything. He just assumed the worst.

I know that Jesse is still mad at everything that happened but he is trying not to show it.

We walked hand in hand into the cafeteria but before we could move anywhere Jesse pulled me back to him.

He grabbed both of my hands in his and smiled sadly.

"Lucillia even though I don't want it to happen, I know that you like Blake. I know that you like him a lot more than you like me. I don't really understand why that is but it's your choice. I'll always love you Luc"

"I'll always love you too Jesse, just not in that way"

"Go get him girl" he said with a sad smile on his face.

I gave him a goodbye kiss and locked eyes with Blake who was at the other side of the cafeteria.

I smiled at him and he smiled back like he knew exactly what Jesse said to me.

We both ran towards each other with smiles on our faces. I jumped up on him, wrapping my legs around his waist and he span me around.

He looked at me with love in his eyes and the next thing we did shocked everyone in the cafeteria.

We locked lips in an amazing and passionate kiss.

I'm so sorry for the short chapter :( What will happen next? Will Britney be mad about Blake and Lucillia getting together? Will Jesse still love Lucillia even after what she has done to him? Will Blake and Lucillia's relationship last long or do you think Blake will still be the same old guy he was before?
