19. Babysitting

Lucillia's POV

It was Saturday afternoon and we had just won our soccer game.

Levi had sent me heaps of messages after we had uploaded all the photos. Probably because in heaps of them Jesse had his arm around me and we looked really close.

I was going back to my house with Jesse and Claudia, Xavier, Carter, and mum and dad were going back to Crest Wood to spend their day there.

I put Bentley into the car seat that Claudia gave us and hopped into the passenger seat in Jesse's car.

"I'm glad that we are hanging out today" Jesse said happily.

"Me too Jesse"

He grabbed my hand with one of his and started driving off to my house.

"So what's happening with Levi?"

"He won't leave me alone" I said sadly.

"You want me to teach him a lesson"

I chuckled and shook my head.

"I hate him and I'm never going to forget what he did to me but I can't stop thinking about like everything that we have been through"

"I understand Luc and it's hard but he's a jerk and he doesn't deserve your forgiveness"

I smiled at him and Bentley started fussing around in the back.

We pulled up in my drive way and Jesse rushed out of the car after turning it off and rushed over to my door. He opened it for me like a gentleman and I grabbed his hand so he could help me out.

"Thanks Jesse"

He smiled at me and got Bentley from the back seat.

I stared at him in awe as he carried Bentley to the front door.

I opened it for him and he walked in after thanking me with a kiss on the cheek.

I shut the door and sat on the couch next to Jesse. I watched him talk to Bentley and it was just the cutest thing.

"What?" He asked me with a smile.

"You're good with him"

"He's cute and I love kids"

I smiled at him and Bentley yawned hugely in his arms.

I giggled and took him from Jesse's arms.

"Are you tired Bentley? I think it's time for you to have a little nap"

"Yaaaa" he babbled.

I giggled again and saw Jesse staring at me out of the corner of my eye.

"I'm just gonna go take Bentley to bed and quickly get changed. Just um make yourself at home"

He smiled at me so I walked up upstairs with Bentley slowly falling asleep in my arms.

We didn't have a cot so I put him in my bed and surrounded his little body with pillows.

"Okay Bentley if you need me I will just be downstairs. I have the baby monitor on so if you need me just cry out"

I walked towards the door and he cried out. I turned around and he was squirming his arms around for me to go over to him.

I walked over to him and laid down on the bed and pulled him over so he was cuddling into my side.

After around 15 minutes of laying here Jesse came up and stood in the doorway.
