"Shouldn't you be in the pooja?" She jumped when she heard Deva's voice from behind.

"Are you intending to give me a heart attack?" Ahvi faced him to see him close to her.

Deva raised his eyebrow "What's in it for me if you died of a heart attack?"

Ahvi shrugged "Who knows? May be you want to get rid of me".

He moved closer making her step back and supported herself with her palms on the piano keys as he bent down "Trust me when I say how much I want you to be with me".

She searched his eyes to face with brutal honesty and gulped avoiding his eyes trying to push him away with her palm on his chest but he didn't budge. He held her wrist on his chest and placed it on his heart making her look back into his eyes.

"Kannamma! Kannamma!" They heard Gayatri's voice making Ahvi push him back with both her palms on his chest both of them straightening up.

"Hey! Vadina! How are you? Is my brother making you crazy yet?" Ahvi walked towards Gayatri

"Hey! Vadina! How are you? Is my brother making you crazy yet?" Ahvi walked towards Gayatri.

"Ay monkey! Do you want to die in my hands?" Rana hit the back of his sister's head.

"No talks about dying on the festival day" Radhika walked into the living room holding aarati.

Everyone took blessings while Ahvi stood away since she was on her period. Rana and Gayatri touched Radhika's feet taking her blessings making Radhika put her palm on both their heads blessing them handing the aarati plate to the maid Mani.

Vidya took the flowers on the teapoy excitedly "Come on! Let's go and start the Bhogi fire" making everyone walk out.

"Mani! One second" Deva stopped Mani and walked to her collecting the smoke of aarati and nodded at her to leave.

Deva walked to Ahvi making her frown but soon she blinked her eyes as he ran his palms over her head "You don't have to come if you're in pain".

'How did he... ' Ahvi cleared her throat "I'm fine!" and walked out with him behind her.

Rana lit the stick and put it with the remaining logs as the workers bought the flowers and dung putting them in the fire. Everyone did the rounds around the bhogi fire taking blessings as Krish took pictures of everything.

Everyone settled in the living room after the bhogi pooja "Stay for the night Rana!"

Everyone settled in the living room after the bhogi pooja "Stay for the night Rana!".

"We want to Deva! But since it's our first Sankranti after getting married we need to celebrate it at Gayatri's parents house" Rana said.

"Right! You're newly married. It's the tradition Deva let them go. Oh and Rana, return after kanuma" Radhika stated.

"Sure attayya! If my dear psychopath sister troubles you, I'm just a call away" Rana teased Ahvi.

Ahvi stuck her tongue out leaning her head on Radhika's shoulder "I trouble no one. Even if I did attayya won't say anything because I'm her favorite amongst us all".

Radhika laughed patting Ahvi's arm "True! Ahvi is my favorite".

"Alright! Let's have dinner" Deva stood up making everyone follow him to the dining room.

As they were having dinner Rana's mobile rang making him frown and lift the call "Mom! Yeah we're at Deva's".

"What? Do you want her to kick me? You tell her... But... Hello... Hello... " Rana put the mobile down.

"What happened?" Gayatri asked.

"Why aren't you lifting mom's calls?" Rana looked at Ahvi.

"My phone's in my room" Ahvi replied.

"Reddy family is coming here tomorrow" Rana informed.

Vidya frowned "But Kannamma didn't invite them".

"No... She didn't" Ahvi looked at Rana.

Rana shook his head "I'm sorry Ahvi! Bit it seems she did".

Ahvi groaned as Radhika widened her eyes "Paddu arranged pellichoopulu for Ahvi?".

Rana nodded "She did! And she also wants you to get ready in a saree".

Vidya grinned "Well! Tomorrow is gonna be entertaining".

"Shut up!" Ahvi glared at Vidya.
