"I need to face this... him, but...what the fuck? I'm not ready for this—" and just like that, her words were cut by Doc. Aidan.

She fixed her stethoscope before facing him, it was surprising to see him because she heard he was taking his day off for today.

"About what happened last—"

"Doc. Aidan, I don't mind it at all, it's fine. Please excuse me, I still have a patient to take care of." she left with her chin up and without looking back at Doc. Aidan.

Actually, for her... it does, she minds it. Imagine just someone digging about your past, she couldn't believe it. She doesn't care if Doc. Aidan's a Korean too, it's just not right to dig into someone's private information.

While taking her way to room 115, she made sure she was prepared somehow to face him.

And when she opens the door, some of the nurses are already checking his vital signs, which means, she can decide if she can still enter or not right?

But she still decided to go in, she bit her lips before walking towards the bed, he still looked unconscious.

Sunhye was holding the clipboard where all his personal information and medical results are in. She was getting ready to be asked by the Doctor beside her.

"Nurse Shin, are there any bone fractures? serious findings?" Doc. Paulo asked.

Sun showed him the paper, "Yes Doc., apparently an ankle fracture, Doc."

The Doctor just nods his head and starts explaining how it happens, and how it heals.

"...This normally takes approximately 6 weeks to heal Mr. Lee, we advise you to take the prescribed painkillers, just move, and try to walk around, our nurses are here, especially Nurse Shin."

Just what the hell did she just hear? She ain't doing this for him for freaking six months!

Doc. continued, "Our Nurses here are very approachable, Nurse Shin is one of the best in accommodating our patients with bone fractures, so, I guess we're good?"

Everybody nodded and HE said thank you.

And this is the time that she's been preparing for, all of them left and now... it's just the two of them.

The atmosphere became weird until she spoke.

"You can..tell me when you want to get up, Mr. Lee." after all the hatred, she still decided to be professional. She won't let her buried anger lead her to mixed emotions. She still has to be professional.

As she's a Nurse and he's the patient.

Heesung didn't respond.

Seems like he doesn't want me here, well, I do feel the same!

"I'll go in the office to get the Doctor's other findings before I go, do you need something?" right, nothing else, just professionalism.

"So you were just here all this time?" Finally, a word came out of his mouth.

He couldn't look properly at her, he didn't want to show her how he missed her so much. He's been waiting for this time to come and yet there he is, he feels like something's stuck in his neck that he can't say everything he wants to say.

When he saw her enter the room thirty minutes ago, he couldn't believe it was her. She changed a lot, her facial expressions, and way of speaking.

The calmness in her voice, whenever she speaks is still there tho, it just became stronger.

It's really obvious that she's not naive and trying to make him feel that she doesn't know him. It's just clearly showing professionalism.

"If you don't need anything—"

"Answer my damn question, do you know much your family's worried for you?" the frustration in his word was clear.

She did not look back and immediately walked to the door. After getting out of the room, she exhaled a high amount of air before clenching her first, placing it on her heart.

She's already used to not hearing anything about her parents, why does he have to remind her? She almost forgot them already.

And what? worried? that's such a deep word for her.

They are the reason why she's here.

Her life's messed up because of them.

Her life is just ruined by them.

She just felt like their daughter once when it was her 7th birthday, after that, it faded away. She was used, and she promised not to be like that again, no one can ever use her.
