(36.) 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐘 𝐒𝐈𝐗

"Are you gonna be fine alone?" Heesung asked while opening the compartment of the van to put his bags.

We did talk about a lot of things, we called our other friends last night to inform them, I can feel their happiness when they saw me though the video call.

"I made it to five years, duh?" I rolled my eyes, and he chuckled.

When we were talking with our friends, we kinda sort some things out. Jay and I had a misunderstanding before I left, at first I didn't care because it's not my life but I realized how selfish I am to hide that.

I met his wife at the airport the same day I left. She was crying and I was too, she told me not to tell anybody because only Seia and I knew about this, she told me she's tired, and that Jay cheated on her.

Since Jay and I were now good, I might visit him and his family when I go back.

"Uhm, thanks for taking care of me, call me and we'll pick you up at the airport. Don't forget to inform me, please." Damn, saying that with a rizz? bonus.

I chuckled as I nod, "I can just inform Seia, you might be busy."

"I'm not, I... was the one monitoring Mrs. Kim at the hospital that your family owned."

"You didn't tell me that last night."

"Because I'm afraid—"

"Anyways, you good to go?" I checked his bags one gain, it's all fine so he finally closed the compartment.

We went inside the car, there's a driver to we're at the back. I'm now wearing my duty uniform, so he let me borrow his jacket for a while. I can't just walk around in my Nurse's uniform, it should be respected.

We arrived at the airport on time, and since this van will also take me at my workplace, I agreed to come with him at least at the airport.

"I took the business class, I'll be off in thirty minutes. Thanks for coming." he began to slowly walk towards me and gently cupped my cheeks.

I froze for a second, taken surprise by his sudden action that his lips are now in mine. I pushed him, "I shouldn't have agreed to come with you, do that again and I'll grab that lips and mop it on the floor" tsk.

"Hmm, always feisty. I'll go for now, take care of yourself hmm? call me on saturday, we'll pick you up, we promise."

But I just rolled my eyes, and nod.

He waved at me before entering the scanning area, I looked at his driver and said, "Let's go." the driver just nod his head.

It's been a day since he left, he never stop calling me to update me about my mom and I appreciate that, a lot.

I'm still at work, giving all my strength to take care of my eight patients for today. I also met my friends earlier, I already told them about what happened to me just a week ago.

They said I don't have to worry about leaving them, and Mark... we cleared everything about what we have.

We actually don't have nothing to talk about, but  he confessed and I said we're better off friends. He help me a lot, especially when it was my first time here in New Zealand, he was the one who helped me with everything up until now.

As a friend, I will never forget what he did. I'll be thankful and will treasure it forever.

"You're gonna leave?" Doc Aidan asked then moment I entered the Chairman's office to pass my letter.

I nodded, "It's just for a month or two, Doc."

"Uh, you don't sound so sure about that Nurse Shin, specially that your family owns the biggest hospital in South Korea, I doubt." Doc Aidan stated, my eyes widen as I looked at the Chairman and the Director, they were looking at me in surprise too.

"It that true, Nurse Shin?" The Chairman asked.

Is there's still a room for me to lie? This bastard just exposed me.

"Yes Sir, I'm the Daughter of the late Emmanuel Shin." I confidently said and they both nod their heads, because of that revelation the director asked if he can visit our hospital.

I told them it's fine, but I can't guarantee if our hospital is open for a collaboration, or investment.

"It's your last day, have a safe flight Nurse Shin." Doc Aidan said while we're both walking at the hallway, I smiled at him, he's a good guy too, he just got that slippery mouth that makes him annoying.

"Yeah for sure, you better check who you fuck Doc Aidan, I'm not gonna be here anymore to remind you about that." I said but he just laugh it off.

"You're really annoying," he said while bursting out laughing "But sure, no test results no fuck."

With that, I didn't stop my giggles, I was the only who knows that he's gay and I love him for that. I was laughing nonstop because he kept saying that he doesn't like small swords, that he tried  with one who has it once and didn't like it.

I hugged him before leaving, he knows my number so he can call me anytime.
