(33.) 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐘-𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄

Sunhye's

"Shouldn't you be at the room 115 for the whole day?" Nurse Mia asked my while she's chewing her salad.

I grabbed my phone without responding at her, the conversation I just had with him earlier made my blood boil. Everything seems fine to him after all that happened between us.

No marks of pain.

"Uhuh, I was just waiting for the l
patient's food to be done."

"He's fine huh, I never knew Korean guys looks so fine as hell!" as usual, Nurse Mia will always blab if it's about a handsome guy.

I chuckled while scrolling at my phone, chatting with Seia and the other girls.

"Nurse Shin! You can take this to the room 115." the cook waved at me to get my attentions and so I did get the food and went back to the room 115.

And again, he was there, all freshen up while looking at the window, "Didn't the Doctor asked you not to get up without me?" I was pissed off when I saw him casually walking around like he wasn't injured.

I'm glad that he can move his legs, not so much, but enough to see that there's an improvement happening in just days.

I placed the food on the table before holding him... back to his bed. I just can't make him the reason for my suspension if ever.

"So, can we talk?" again, Heesung fixed himself and then looked straight at me.

"I'll appreciate more if you shut up and let me do my job—"

"I'm not used to you being like this. Let me explain everything, ask me anything you want, Sunhye."

"I said don't bother because I don't care." Hear less, for my peace of mind. I can't be in my shell forever otherwise, if he woul tell them about my life right now, then so be it.

"I followed you, they said you went to Paris, I stayed there for months looking for you. After that, Jake told me to ask Seia, he heard her talking to you but I didn't do it. I'm serious."  My heart pounds fast, what's wrong with him that he keeps insisting to explain?

I took a deep breath before continuing, "It wasn't easy for me, after what happened that night, I thought you left me the other day. I can still remember what you told me, you want to move out so after that night I contacted Sunghoon to find us a house."

Can't she feel how I miss her?

Damn, I badly wanna hug you, and kiss you.

Ever since she came this morning, I felt warmer that ever. She still have that effect on me whenever she's near, while looking at her, I wanna tuck that damn bangs behind her ears.

I wanna hug her, I won't leave anymore, even tho she's making me feel like she doesn't want me anymore. I still won't stop.

There's so much I want to say, she can ask me anything she wants. I care for her, damn, I love her.

... She changed, a lot. "Were you trying to make me feel something again? I'm not naive to believe in you again and again. Whatever it is, or if you're still holding onto that contract I already signed it."

"But I didn't." I said and her eyes widen in shock.

"That means...what? why?"

"I did not agree with it."

And just like that, she left without saying anything about it. I checked my phone to reply to Sunghoon's messages, he knew what happened to me and he's coming here together with Jay, Jake, and his wife.

Even though I don't like the idea, she can't escape with this. Her family needs her, but I need her more, that sounds selfish I know.

Mr. Shin, her father, was still confined at the hospital. I heard he's been praying to meet his daughter before he... passed away.

I know my girl still has a heart.

I know she's hurt so much, and I still blame myself for it, I wasn't there. It was my fault that she's feeling like this. I deserve this treatment right now.

Old her is gone.

She's much stronger now, brave enough not to please other people anymore.

I will still do everything.

It's never too late to make things right.

I waited patiently.

The way she look at me is still the same, I still have a place inside her, I know it.
