RAINE'S POV

I walk into the office, feeling like I was being watched by someone. However, I brushed the feeling off. As I walked through the door, a bell over it rang. Like the ones at the stores.

I hate those.

"Paranoid people." I muttered, walking towards the desk. As I got there, I couldn't help but inspect the receptionist at the desk. She had blonde hair, that you could tell was dyed, and black rimmed glasses. Her hair was in a updo, also known as a ponytail.

"Hi. I'm Raine. Can I get my schedule and locker number?" I asked politely. As she was printing them out, I looked at her name on her name tag.

I snorted as I realized her name was Felicia. When I noticed she was holding out my papers, I grabbed them from her hand and thanked her.

Being the retardo I am, as I left, I yelled, "Bye Felicia!" and started hysterically laughing.

Do you ever have those moments where you laugh at yourself because you're just so damn funny?

I had tears in my eyes as I walked away and as I closed my eyes to try and stop laughing, I tripped. Over magazines. Freakin magazines.

And I didn't just stumble. I fell. Like my whole body hit the ground. My phone fell, my books, my papers, evrything. The usually buzzing office was unusually quiet.

"Um. Sorry you guys. Im sure you have better things to do...like typing things...so im going to leave?"

They were still staring.

Feeling a blush come across my cheeks, and considering im pretty tan is saying something.

I got my books, phone, and the papers that Felicia gave me.

As I'm going for the last paper, a hand gets to it before I do and hands it to me.

"Here. You dropped this." The boy said, his voice deep and filled with amusement.

I look at the face and I see the most beautiful guy handing me the paper with a smirk on his face. I automatically knew he was a werewolf.

'MATE' Midnight yelled.

I felt my eyes visibly grow larger at the realization. I bet the whole office was staring and wondering why are they staring at each other? Unless they were werewolves.

I grabbed the paper from his awaiting hand and started to get up.

"Um. Thanks. I'm Raine." I said trying to get my dignity back.

"No problem. I'm Cade. Anything else you dropped?" He asked, still smirking.

'Just her dignity' Midnight answered.

"No. Thanks." I said. And left him staring after me as I left.
