RAINE'S POV

(Question of the chapter: What's your favorite color?)

"Bom bom bom bom I'm not sleeping bom bom bom bom I'm not sleeping!" I sang into the night. My bruises were healed, but I knew there eould be bruised tomorrow.

I groaned, my voice echoing off of the walls. The silver laced bullets still in my legs begged for attention. I thought of my day, and how I would fix it. Then it crossed my mind.

If I could bang people against walls, stop cars, and cause weather malfunctions, why couldn't I get out these bullets? I gingerly put my hands to my knees-as far as the chains would allow me-and believed they would move.

They didn't.

I screamed silently, the pain still there. I want these little shits out!

Suddenly I heard a tiny clang, then another. I looked down to see the bullets on the cold metal ground, bloodied and red. I exhaled a breath of heavy relief. The pain was still there, not doubt, but atleast I could move without worrying that the bullets would tear a muscle and keep moving.

I screamed once again, just to keep the guards up at night. "I'm not sleeping!"

"Shut the hell up!"

"Someone get my gun,"

"Get the boss, dammit!"

"I'll kill you!"

Multiple guards shouted. I laughed. "Sweet dreams to you too!"

After a few grumbling words, a guard's heavy footsteps were heard coming down the hall. He grasped the door bars before yanking his hands back.

Wolfsbane was coated on the bars.

"I told you to shut the hell up!" He screamed.

"Jeremy!" Another guard yelled. "Go easy on her! The boss wants her alive for tomorrow!" The guard-now named Jeremy-unlocked the cell door and walked inside.

"You need to learn respect!" Jeremy cried loudly. "If I say sleep, I want sleep!" I laughed and smirked in his direction.

"You need to learn that when I say I won't, or I don't give a flying fuck, that I sure as hell mean it!" I spat at him. His arm reared back and punched me in the face-hard.

Hands chained up, I couldn't defend myself. I wanted to cry out in pain, but I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of hearing my cries. He saw the steel of my eyes and noticed I wouldn't cry out.

"Hold on bitch." He sneered. "I have something that will make tonight easier on all of us." Then he left the room. He didn't come back for a long time and I was getting scared and nervous.

Why couldn't I shut up?!

"H-hey Jeremy?" I called into the darkness. No one answered. "I'll go to sleep now!"

I heard the cling of metal and the noise of loud footsteps. "Daren! Bring that table!" I listened to Jeremy's voice call just as he entered my cell.

"I believe we just had a misunderstanding," I bargained nervously; he sat a bag down on the floor beside my place on the cellar floor. There was little light in the cell, but there was enough from the little window in the corner for me to see the contents of the bag.

Knives, screws, scalpels-anything and everything was in the bag.

"I'll sleep! See?" I started to fake snore. He laughed.

"Should've listened the first time." He said. A boy, whom I presume is Daren, walked in shakily with a metal table. Jeremy clapped him on the back.

"Well done little boy!" He hooted. Jeremy grabbed a syringe out of his front pocket bag. He tapped it with his index finger nail and handed it to Daren.

"Put this in her neck and then unchain her," Jeremy ordered. I shook visibly.

"No, no, no, no, no," I chanted as Daren got closer. He seemed more nervous than I; and I was the one getting drugged up. Once he got close enough for me, I watched him get closer and closer. In the background, I heard Jeremy setting up the table and his tools on a counter connected to the bedish table.

"D-daren, you don't have to d-do this-s," I stammered. He stopped and took a deep breath. I continued.

"You can stop this now. When my mate comes and kills the lot of them, I'll tell him to spare you. I promise," I said. Jeremy noticed the hold up and moved towards us.

"Give the damned thing to me," he said as he stuck the needle in my neck and pushed the unknown liqui through my veins. I gasped at the intrustion, and my body soon felt tired. I was tired now, like I had no control over my body and limbs.

"Whas' that stuff?" I slurred sleepily.

"Paralyzing medicine. Unchain her Daren. Then leave," Jeremy grabbed the key out of his back pocket and gave it to Daren. When Daren untied me, I fell forward in his arms.

"Help me," I grumbled. It was like my mind was awake, but my body wasn't. He shook his head no, and his eyes filled with unshed tears. Jeremy then picked me up from the boy's arms and laid me on the bed, placing my wrists and ankles in restraining braces.

"Okay, which one first?" He asked with a menacing smile.

"Neither," I answered uncomprehensively. He shook his head with laughter and shouted.

"We sleep well tonight boys!" With shouts of approval from his friends, he plunged the first knife in my stomach.

CADE'S POV

(QOTC: What's your favorite color?)

I awoke on the hospital bed feeling an excrutiating pain in my abdomen. I screamed, arching my body in a fetal position. The pack doctors rushed in, and surrouned my bed.

"His heart rate is accelerating!" One yelled as they glanced at my heart monitor. They moved quickly, not a moment to loose.

They bustled around, trying to find the cause of my pain. They were oblivious to the reason of my screams, and why I was choking on nothing.

"Help me!" I yelled to no one in particular-when I was barely able to breathe.

"He's bleeding through his abdomen! As if something stabbed him!" One doctor yelled in realization. The pain increased in place and in volumes.

My arms started to bleed, my eye started to swell, and my shoulder felt dislocated. The pain was breathtaking. I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move, I couldn't talk, and everything was so far away. My eyesight became littered with black dots and my heart pounded faster.

Then all of a sudden, it stopped. I could breathe. I felt no pain but the little tinge of tenderness in my stomach. It happened so quickly; I was shocked and scared. I knew what had happened.

"Raine," I whispered, before my body shut down and I finally left conciousness.

Please don't hate me 😁 I had to. Cliffhangers are life. Don't worry; I'm already working on another chapter.

Warning, things will get hard for Raine & Cade. Mostly Raine. I don't know why she's kidnapped yet; I'm just doing it as I go along lmao. I'll find a reason; don't worry.

Don't forget to answer the QOTC!
