Chapter 22 - Beginning of Our Date
RAINE'S P.O.V
(QOTC: Where do you live? *what country /state*)
"Then you came in," I finished. I just told Cade the previous events that led the now unconcious boy to where he is now.
"Well let's just wait for him to wake up." Cade decided, softly kissing my lips.
"Let's go on a date," Cade blurted. He looked too cute in his light blush.
"Okay," I laughed quietly. "Where to?" We left our room, and went outside. I was welcomed with smiles and laughter. I smiled as well.
"What do you want to do today?" My thoughtful mate asked me.
"Well, my everyday schedule is wake up, eat, then go back to sleep, so I don't know."
Cade hooted with laughter even though I was serious. I stared at him with a straight face until he was done. He cleared his throat awkwardly.
"On the otherhand, I took the liberty to have planned a fun day for us. It's a surprise, though."
"Oh really?" I asked excitedly. I don't necessarily like surprises, but when they made my mate so happy, I rarely complained.
"Yes, but let me take care of something really quickly." He hurriedly ran to the door, before sprinting back. He kissed me hard on my unsuspecting lips, though as soon as I reacted, he ran to the door bidding me goodbye.
The bastard.

CADE
"Y'all are leaving today. It will be a week long journey, but I believe you will be triumphant in this. Thank you again, this is a honor to be with such loyal members of my pack. Don't forget to say goodbye because you will be leaving soon." I told the few men in front of me.
Timothy came up to me after my little speech. "I have a favor to ask, Alpha."
"Yes? Don't be scared around me, I'm only 19," I joked.
He timidly laughed before asking me the favor. "May you look after my family? My little girl, Willow, and her mommy?" He took a deep breath before continuing. "And also, if something happens while I'm gone, may you look after my unborn son?"
I was honored to have this much of this man's trust. "Of course Timothy; Is that all?"
"Yes,"
"Then," I replied with a smile, "consider it done." He bowed his head and left to grab his things. I left to go find Rainne only not to see her where I left her.
"What the-" I mumbled before being tackled to the ground.
"OhMyGosh I got you!" Rainne said laughing. She rolled off of me into the grass, cackling like an old witch.
When she finished, I smiled, and asked her the question that would change our lives.
"Do you want a piggy back ride?"
