CADE'S POV

I kissed Raine before she fell asleep and headed to the pack garage. I was smiling, somewhat happy that my princess was back, but sad because she was still frightened by me. She allowed me to kiss her and sort of hold her hand, but she would accidentally call me Sir, or flinch away from me.

I opened the driver's door and got in, pushing the keys in the ignition. I smiled, estatic about where I was about to go. I reversed the car, and headed down the street.

'I just wanna take you out and show you off.
You already know you're the perfect onee," my radio sang. I moved my head to the slow beat before turning the steering wheel. I kept driving, until I saw the place I wanted to be. I grinned and pulled into the parking lot, basically leaping out of my car. I quickly locked it and ran to the door, opening it and walking inside.

"Hi, I'm here to get a ring," I said, smiling madly.

The elderly woman at the register smiled a knowing smile. "For the One, eh?"

I nodded my head, feeling on Cloud 9. Raine was already 1 month pregnant, and she would start showing by 3 months. It took an Alpha pup 5 months to be born; regular wolves had 6 months, which wasn't a really big difference.

"Do you have any idea what she would like?" The lady - Susan, by her nametag - asked me. Instead, I grabbed my wallet and pulled out a picture of me and her that we took on our date.

"Not really; I was hoping you could lead me in the right direction though," I stammered. She laughed silently and shook her head.

"How big is her finger, huney?" Susan asked. I looked at all of my fingers to estimate the size. I held up my pinky finger.

"That big."

She moved slowly, but determinedly to the end of the shelves. "Black diamond or a traditional diamond?" She asked me.

I pondered the thought . Now black diamonds were beautiful, but white diamonds were pretty too. "What do you think she would like?" I asked, loosing self confidence.

"Dear child, she is not my wife to be. She's yours. I don't know what she would like," Susan stated, bending over as she dropped a pen off of the counter.

'She'd like my dick down her throat,' Grey said, causing me to shiver at the thought. I felt my pants rise a little and tried to hide from the little old lady. As she was getting back up from picking up the pencil, she saw my tree and started to smirk.

She puffed up her hair. "Good to know that I still got it."

I tried to hide my smile, but ended up smiling anyway. We laughed as if we were friends, as if we had known each other for a while.

"How much are those rings?" I asked. She scrunched uo her nose in thought.

"I forgot, let me go see."

As Susan headed towards the back room, I looked out of the one sided mirror, facing the outside of the store. Then I saw Raine, fidgeting with her hands and her purse on her shoulder. HEading towards the store!

I panicked, and as Susan walked out from the back, she questioned me about it.

"My wife to be is coming in the store! She can't see me!" I exclaimed. Susan's eyes widened and she shuffled me behind the shelves in the store.

"Stay quiet!" The little lady urged just as Raine walked in.

"Hi, um, could I get help on something for my ma-boyfriend's mom? I kind of missed Christmas, and I know it's January, but still." Raine stammered. Again Susan laughed, causing Raine to smile.

"Sure darling. Let me look. While you wait, can you tell me which ring is better? The one with the white diamond, the black diamond, or the one with both?" Susan played. Raine gasped as she looked at the beautiful items.

"That one," she replied breathlessly.

I smiled. She just picked out her wedding ring without even knowing!

Susan came back, shaking her head happily.

"I found a beautiful locket, maybe you can put a picture of your boyfriend and you in there for her. Maybe you will turn out to be her daughter-in-law one day." Susan hinted.

I rolled my eyes. She was gonna give it away.

'Someone go and steal her cane to keep her from spoiling the secret!' Grey instructed. I laughed before covering my mouth.

Raine's head snapped over to our direction.

"Baby, baby, just look over here. Which one would you like?" Susan distracted, throwing a mean glare towards me.

I looked at Raine, loving the way she looked right about now. She had on some cute Wanna Better Butt jeans and a purple shirt with a white vest . And her cute purple converse. I smiled at that, almost laughing out loud again.

"I like the one on the...right." Raine decided. Susan smiled. "Good choice."

As Raine was being cashed up, I thought about how I was going to propose to her. Would she want creative? Or just traditional? Fun? Or simple?

"Thanks Mrs. Susan!" I heard Raine exclaim as she left the store. After about 2 minutes, Susan came to get me.

"You little knuckle head!" She cried, stepping on my foot with her cane.

"Oh sh-" I started. This little lady hurt!

"Finish that word. I dare you." Susan threatened.

I gulped. "Anyways, I need an idea of how to propose to Raine." Susan started to smile.

"I remember my little Jonah did something that for me. He took me on a boat ride and we went ski diving. He led me to an oyster, the big ones that contain pearls, and when it opened, there was the words 'will you marry me?' With a pearl in the middle of the words," she told. "Once we got back to the boat, he proposed. Just know that when you propose to your girl, do it for just the two of you. Okay? Girls like that." Susan advised.

I smiled. "Thanks Mrs. Susan. I will. Now how about that ring?"

After getting the ring, I hid it under my bed. I knew exactly how I was going to do it. It would be perfect.
