Cade stopped as if he'd heard my thoughts and sniffed the air before turning to me quickly.
"Oh shit; you're in heat." He said before throwing me over his shoulder and rushing to the pack house.
UNKNOWN'S POV
The time, is right. I'm ready for my sweet Raine. I'm ready for her to be mine.
All the pieces are in place.
I watch her be carried up the stairs in her mate's pack house.
Oh how I long for that to be my shoulders she's on.
I could smell her heat, the smell that I had always lusted to breathe in.
I wanted her as mine.
I needed her.
But, paitence is the key.
Soon, she will be mine. And she will bear my perfect child.

CADE'S POV
Last night, nothing happened.
I locked her in our room. The little boy we had locked up, was playing cards with the rest of the pack, looked like he was cheating, but wasn't.
Bang. Bang. Bang.
"Cade Haynes! Go and control your girl!" Jared said. I rolled my eyes.
"Or I will," he mumbled. I growled and stood up from the table.

Everyone trembled at the volume of his voice. Jared whimpered, knowing he took it too far this time. We all sat down to silence, before Nicole bust through the door with a bag in her hand. She waved her hand nervously, obviously noticing the tension.
"Oh, um, don't mind me," she said as she rushed up the stairs to Raine's room. All you heard was giggling before the door closed once again and Nicole returned.
"Well! Goodbye!" The front door was the one closing this time. We continued playing cards and the banging ceased.
"H-hey Alpha Cade?" Jared said, now timid.
"What?!" I barked.
"I was going to s-suggest you go and c-check on your mate,"
Most of the players had left, and it was just me and Jared. I squinted my eyes before laying the cards down. Pushing my chair backwards, I stood up and patted his shoulder.
"About time you learned some respect," I said threateningly. And with that I headed up the stairs.

RAINE'S POV
Nicole came through. I grabbed my phone and texted her back.
'Thank ya girl for the , surprise!'
She replied with laughing emojis and typed back, 'No problem. Get your revenge girl!' I was able to type back, 'Oh, I will,' before Cade opened the door and took in my sexy appearance.
