"Bella." He screamed "Bella please wake up. I'm so sorry. I remember now. I remember everything. Please don't be gone" He sobbed harder pulling her forward. "Please I love you." He whispered.
She never gasped. She never moved. She laid still, beautiful as ever as Regulus Black cried at her side.
He felt more rage than ever before forcing himself up grabbing his wand and storming across the home. He held his wand up to he who shall not be named. "Bring her back. Bring her back now."
"Crucio" The man mumbled as Regulus fell to the ground. "Remember your place Mr. Black." He scoffed.
Regulus apperated out of the home to an oceanfront holding a locked between his fingers as tears streamed down his face.
I have never woken up faster in my life. I have had many dreams of the story unfolding since Bella left. Not once has she been the one dying in the end. I don't know what changed in that home but we need someone there. We need someone in that home with her. Severus isn't doing enough to help her.
I ran to the living room hoping James wasn't in there. I don't tell him when I have dreams about her. I couldn't tell him. He was barely holding on as it is. He never eats anymore, he's lost nearly 10 lbs since she left. He can't even force himself to leave his room most of the time. We bring him tea and food here and there but both typically go untouched. I sat in the living room before Severus appeared in front of me.
"Pandora." He said excitedly. "She's okay. I came to tell you she's okay but I do not have much time. Where is James?"
"Follow me." I said leading him to his bedroom. "He's in there. Good luck." I mumbled.
He was in there for roughly five minutes before James came bursting out the door. He seemed to have gained energy from their conversation, he seemed alive again.
"I'm hungry" Was all he could say.
Bella Potter
The days blended into eachother folding one after the next. Voldemort hasn't come by in 4 days and no one has left the house. It's just me, Severus and the Black family. We have silent dinners and the disperse into our own world. I explored some before finding a library on the top floor. There were no muggle books anywhere as expected but I began to read the books they had. Specifically on magic.
I taught myself numerous curses, and many healing spells for the war to come. I needed to know everything I could before fighting in a battle. Soon I'll have a mission and if I don't use dark magic they'll find out sooner than expected. I was up there reading after lunch when I heard the wood move across the room. Regulus stood in the doorway watching me.
"How long have you been there?" I asked.
"Long enough to see you rip open your own leg and heal it right after." He laughed. "You're quite talented, i've never seen someone be able to do that after only a few days."
He's known all along that I've been coming up here.
"Too bad we weren't friends at Hogwarts, Seems like we would've got along." He added.
"You underestimate me Black." I retorted keeping my eyes on the page in front of me.
"Always have I guess" He sighed before walking back out of the room. I held my breath before I heard him going down the stairs before letting the tears stream down my cheeks. I don't think it will ever get easy talking to him without him knowing that we truly did know eachother. Having to pretend I have never met him.
Dinner came quickly. I headed down stairs to see everyone standing behind their chairs.
He's here tonight.
