it felt so good to be home. the vacation was so relaxing, don't get me wrong, but i missed my babies for the three days i was away. tyla had the best birthday, finally prioritising herself and being selfish for once in her life paid off, she celebrated without a worry in her mind. just the two of us.

tay picked us up from the airport and first stop was my house. walking up the driveway, suitcase rolling beside me, i unlocked the front door. the house was so quiet, but i knew my woman was home because her car was out front. it was currently 11am so everyone should be awake.

i closed the door behind me, "im home!" i shouted through the oversized house, wanting some attention from the people that i love.

and that's when i finally heard the bare feet slapping against the floor running towards my direction, "mamaaa!" was shouted through the halls as rumi and sir came running at me at full speed.

i bent down to their level, embracing them in a huge warm hug, showering both of them in endless kisses. "my babies. i missed you so much."

"mama i miss you, mama i love you." sir repeated himself, wanting me to know he meant what he said. this was my boy. my boy for life that i loved so much. our relationship was so different to my girls and i's relationship. but i still loved them all the same.

humming, "mmm and i love you so much." placing a kiss on his head, "and i love you so much sweet girl." i picked them both up, each twin on different sides of my hips.

walking further into the house i was on a mission to find the remaining two of my family. as i walked into the living room, they were there. sat on the sofa, cuddled up together watching the tv. they both looked up at me, excitement in their eyes, with smiles so wide.

blue jumped up from the sofa, coming to run over to me, "mama, you're home!" she embraced me into a tight squeeze.

placing a kiss on her cheek, "hey my big girl, i missed you. how are you?" asking the eldest of the bunch.

she smiled up at me, "i've been good, i watched some movies on your ipad like you said i could. i love your ipad." she giggled.

this was her hinting for one of her own. not going to happen any time soon unfortunately. beyoncé doesn't like gifting the kids technology and i agree. i know she's six years old, but we had the conversation and there's no technology until she's at least eight.

i would have said high school but beyoncé said that i was being too harsh.

"hmm, my lips feel like they're missing something." i sarcastically said, tapping my finger on my lips, hinting towards the woman i love so dearly, who had yet still not moved from her position on the sofa.

she playfully rolled her eyes, walking over to me, i pulled her towards me by her chin, locking our lips for the first time in three days. it felt like it had been forever. i missed her so much. can't wait to get into bed tonight.

i knew if we didn't have our babies watching us, she would have slipped in some tongue, and i wouldn't have been against it. but i won't do that to our babies. that stays behind closed doors.

"been waiting for this day for three days. please don't leave again. i don't think my soul can take it." she whispered against my lips. my big baby.

"okay mama, i won't be going anywhere for a very long time." i smiled against her lips, placing one last peck on them. "okay family, we have to go to grandma's soon, everyone is going to be there later."

sir pouted, folding his arms looking at me. he tugged on my leg, if he pulled any harder, guaranteed my pants would be down by now. i don't know where he gets all this strength from in that tiny body of his. but he can be so soft at the same time.
