delphine - "Fine, we can stay partners, but don't do what you just did again, do you hear me?" She asked me.

⇒ I scoffed.

jiro - "Fine." I said to her.

delphine - "You didn't sound like you mean it." She said to me.

jiro - "I'm not going to do what I did again, okay? Now, can we keep discussing this project so I can go home?" I asked her annoyingly.

delphine - "Fine, let's have a seat and discuss." She said to me.

{ JIRO'S POV }

⇒ Every time we discussed the project, she got distracted by her phone again.

jiro - "Can you focus?" I asked her.

delphine - "I'm sorry, just let me text him this message." She said to me.

jiro - "L-listen, just put your phone down and stay focused." I said to her.

⇒ She sighed aggressively and turned her phone off and placed it down on the table.

delphine - "I'm sorry." She said to me.

⇒ Her phone pinged again signaling she received a message. She looked at me and I just sighed.

jiro - "Hold on one second." I said to her.

⇒ She nodded and I pulled out my phone out of my pocket and I was going to text my dad to stop texting her so we can focus.

{ TIME SKIPS }

⇒ After my dad replied to me apologizing, I put my phone back in my pocket.

jiro - "Okay, let's continue." I said to her.

⇒ She nodded after she texted on her phone.

{ TIME SKIPS }

⇒ We were able to finish discussing the project without my dad interrupting us.

delphine - "That's weird, he hasn't texted me ever since." She said to herself.

jiro - "Maybe, he got tired of you." I said to her.

⇒ She looked at me with a disgusted face.

delphine - "How can he get tired of me so fast?" She asked me.

jiro - "I'm a guy, I understand how guys think." I said to her.

⇒ She scoffed.

delphine - "I'm going to go, I have somewhere to be." She said to me.

jiro - "So do I." I said to her.

⇒ She got up from her seat and left the library and I followed her out.
