Andy woke up with a groan. His back and neck were stiff, and his right arm was asleep. He turned his head over slightly and saw Jake. He was already awake and on his phone, his fingers were in Andys hair, rubbing his scalp gently in a way that made Andy feel so relaxed. Avery was still fast asleep between them, curled up in a little ball.

"Morning." Andy hummed softly, leaning into Jake's touch.

Jake turned to look at Andy, smiling slightly at him. "Sleep okay?" He asked, not ceasing the movements of his fingers. Jake's hair was mussed from sleep and hanging down on his forehead. He looked comfortable and soft in a way most people were never lucky enough to see.

"Surprisingly decent." Andy replied. Sure, he was a little stiff, but other than that, it was the best sleep he's had in a long time. "Next time let's sleep in my bed though." He added with a chuckle. Andy moved his leg only to just notice that his legs were tangled with Jake's. He wasn't sure when that had happened.

Jake grinned at that and nodded. "Sounds good to me." Avery had burrowed between him and Andy, creating her own little space that thankfully made it easy for either of them to get up if needed, but Jake didn't dare get up until Andy woke up. They were practically welded together from their legs, Andy's arm draped across Avery and Jake, and Jake's hand in his hair.

He was perfectly content with holding them while he waited.

Andy hummed, closing his eyes as Jake gently scraped his nails across his scalp. "You're like a cat." Jake commented with a quiet laugh.

"It feels good." Andy replied with a smile. Crow was curled up next to Andy, his furry face buried in Andy's back.

"Crow is comfortable." He hummed with a chuckle. Jake craned his neck enough to where he was able to spot the cat, and grinned. "I didn't even know he was there." He said.

"He's needy." Andy smiled, reaching back to pet his beloved cat.

"Wonder where he gets it from." Jake said sarcastically only for Andy to reach up and flick him on the forehead. "Do you want coffee and toast?" Andy asked.

"Yes, please." Jake nodded. Andy carefully removed himself from the pile of limbs he was tangled in, trying his best not to disturb Avery at all.

Jake looked down at Avery and smiled. She looked so sweet and peaceful. Jake had been so worried about her, especially after the night before.

Avery rolled over, stretching out across the couch now that she had the room to do so. Crow curled in next to her head, and nuzzled her sweetly.

Jake immediately snapped a picture, his heart absolutely melting at the sight before he carefully stood up and made his way into  the kitchen.

"Need any help?" He asked the younger man.

"No. Coffee is almost done, and your toast is ready." Andy said, pointing towards the plate next to the toaster.

"Thank you." Jake hummed, brushing his hand over the small of Andy's back as he stepped past him to get a spoon out of the utensil drawer.

"Do you want creamer in your coffee?" Jake asked, grabbing two mugs from the cabinet in front of him.

"Yes, please." Andy replied. Jake walked over to the refrigerator and got the creamer and some jam out before making his way to the percolator that had just finished brewing their coffee. He fixed up both mugs and sat one next to Andy on the counter before he got his plate and sat at the kitchen table.

"Thank you." Andy smiled, taking a drink from the mug.

"Hey, you're the one who made it, I just assembled." Jake shrugged, but couldn't help but grin.
